Hello to all my friends out there in The GH Premiership land.
Just letting you all know we are having a great time in Hawaii putting our feet up, riding some waves and visiting strip clubs on our week off. Everyone except Billy that is, apparantally when you have a wife and kid at home the strip club is a no no. I told him i met my my first and second wives at the strip club.
To be honest i havent thought much about the finals, they say confidence is a bad thing. I say the only people who say that are losers, we came first for a reason, because we are **** awesome. I told JT to take it easy another week, we won 2/5 while he was away, i told the rest of these knuckleheads to pick their acts up. Its not a one man band, by now we should be an orchestra.
Im taking the next few days to go and film The Expandables 2 with my man Sly. Tariq wanted to come along but his wife he just met wanted him to stay here another week, good kid that one.
All the best with the Semis to other 4 teams this week, they will need it coming against us next week.

Here fishy fishy
No Mercy
“Momentum is the key factor and we have it “. Is the simple statement from GCR boss Adam.
GCR roared back to life last week after a stellar 80minutes from the team. GCR knew they were on the doorstep of the finals and backed it up with a finals like performance, just in time for the serious end of the season.
The 1st week of the finals see GCR taking on the McSquads Squids who finished an impressive 3rd on the back of a strong season from halfback Mahoney. GCR who finished a distant 6th and with a negative points differential don’t seem daunted with the task at hand.
“ This is a new comp, what has happened prior to this means jack “ Adam mused. We go into this game full of confidence , the players are hungry . I mean they are really hungry, I haven’t allowed them to eat this week”.
Adams bold tactic of starving his players leading up to the clubs most important clash in its short history has some of the games greats scratching their heads. But with a reward of a free meal when they win could be the master stroke of the season. And what’s on the menu?............Squid.

Im a bit worried , 32 points is achievable.
Whoever win theres 4 points so that leaves 28 points.
Praying for a very low scoring game

My understanding is that a WorkHorse try is a combined total of 40 tackles and runs and only a forward can achieve it.Raidersrawesome wrote:-GD- wrote:I think it means workhorse, im not sure what a player has to do to get it though.

e.g. 28 tackles and 12 runs from a forward will give you the WH try.

Re: NRLCEO 2011 - The GH Premiership
I'm back online at last
Sense I wasn't online last week, I wanted to say congrats to GD for winning the minor premiership well done mate, nice time to get JT back I gather, Lurch I don't have much to say to you It was a good comeback by your boys in the last Rd, Merritt and his mates ripped my boys a new one, I must say I was worried on the Monday arve before the game, but to my boys credit they fired up and hit back well this week, and unfortunately for the Bombers they were on the end of it sorry Fui.
To the teams that didn't make the finals thank you for a great year, hope you fellows are keen to go around again in 2012, the draft will be better next year, we will use the quick draft if its available, it only takes 50 mins to pick the 25 man squad.
This weeks finals action should be good, First up we have GD and Lurch battle it out for a spot in the GF, and the other final the All Stars will play the GCRs in the knockout final, best of luck to all teams.

Yeah the top 6 is different thats for sure, you are just in the battle for 5th and 6th overall finish, nrlceo must of put that in so you get another game i guess.Sir McSquid wrote:I don't really understand how this finals system works.. is my team still in the hunt for the GF?
This week the winner between GD and Lurch go straight in the GF, that team will have next week off, the loser of that game gets a 2nd chance to get in the GF next week, they will play the winner of the All Stars and GCRs - loser of this game eliminated.
I'd say when the GF is played in Rd 26, the two teams that missed out will play a 3rd vs 4th game that week.
