Quick reminder guys, the Anti-Tampering Deadline is tomorrow midday, you can still pick up players after the deadline, up until the comp finishes, you just need to have a roster spot or two available.

I think the only decent half left on the market was Roberts and he has been in and out of FG so probably not.

I hope the Great Ones dont turn into the Dragons pre 2010

GD it may not be all that bad for you, If our top 6 finals system runs like the ESL use to use it, teams 1 and 2 will have the bye in week 1 and then they play each other in week 2 with the winner going straight to week 4 and the GF.

Finishing 1st or 2nd you get two chances at getting in the GF.

This is how the Finals will hopefully work.

Week 1.
A - Team 3 vs Team 6 (loser eliminated)
B - Team 4 vs Team 5 (loser eliminated)
Teams 1 and 2 - have the bye.

Week 2.
C - Team 1 vs Team 2 (winner advances to week 4 GF)
D - Winner of A vs Winner of B (loser eliminated)

Week 3.
E - Loser of C vs Winner of D (loser eliminated)

Week 4 - Grand Final.
Winner of C vs Winner of E

Bombers make finals in debut year - Fans rejoice

Justin Credible - The Daily Bugle 27/07/2011 12:27pm

Image
Raw Hysteria. Die hard fans flock to welcome home the triumphant Bombers. Photo - Fui's Images

It's been a mixed season for the Bombers. One that has involved the highs of beating Competition leaders "GD's Great Ones" to lows such as an epic losing streak, releasing Michael Gordon and signing Beau Ryan.

But the Bombers have, against all odds, secured a finals berth in their debut season of the GH Premiership.

"It's a great feeling. We always had faith in the side and we've all pulled together." Bombers coach Fuifui Bradbrad says. When asked what was the reason for their turnaround in form, Fui says there's only 1 person to thank.

"Without a doubt it's KD Lang" Fui explains. "Todd Carney came to us a rabble from his former club. It took months of locking him alone in his room with his finger paintings and the music of KD Lang that really turned his life around. He's now the leader of the 'Say no to tools' campaign and is showing signs of a bright future"

When we asked Bombers Second Rower Simon Mannering how he felt the season has gone, he reply was direct and to the point. "Pass."

With 2 rounds to go until the finals series, there is a glimmer of hope in the Darkness that is Blacktown.
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.
