Ashes Fantasy League

Post by Stringer »

I know it's a fair way off yet, but if anyone is interested in an ashes fantasy league i've set a GH one up at Fox sports. The league code is 1903-435.

The Untouchables are in, the question is, can they dominate the Ashes like the NRL The GH Premiership ?

After the first test, results are in:

Rank Team Manager Round Total
= 1 AustraliaFTW Leonard Leong 0 1510
= 2 Norfolk Enchants Jeremy Angus 0 1492
= 3 Eagle Eye Natalie Angus 0 1466
= 4 Eccles XI Matty Eccles 0 1403
= 5 The Sloggernators Max Noack 0 1231
= 6 The Untouchables Jason Whiting 0 1222
= 7 Tims Tamils Tim Wilson 0 1211
= 8 Khabi's Dreamteam Khabilan Rukmanikanthan 0 1194

A few different strategies at the top of the table are in place for the 2nd test: the first place side (Leonard) has stacked his side with Poms, the second placed side (mine) is stacked with Aussies, and the 3rd placed side (Natalie) has gone for a mix of both. Which will be most successful? Wait and see.....

Considering they leave each round open until the 1st ball of each match, there's no excuse for you not having a full team :P

Eagle Eye 1622 3088
Australia FTW 1563 3073
Norfolk Enchants 1293 2785
Khabi's Dreamteam 1522 2716
Eccles XI 1283 2686
The Untouchables 1392 2614
Tims Tamils 1402 2613
The Sloggernators 1332 2563

Looks like the mixture of Aussies and Poms worked. Natalie is leading after the 2nd test match. The top two have run away from the rest of us. Oh yes, and congragulate me for being last :doubt:

Congrats Nerk :P

The top two had a good game this time around, but so easily could have had a shocker like the rest of us. There's still 3 tests to go, have heart. 500 points from 1st to last is easy to make up if you get lucky with your team selections
