Silverbacks go for the Gold Banana
In a season where 25 players have been sacked due to a number of off-field discretions, the Stirling Silverbacks have surprised all to be sitting in the Top 3 going into the final round. Only Luke Douglas, George Rose, David Stagg, Phil Graham, Nathan Merritt and Greg Inglis remain from the Round 1 lineup.
With the Top 4 spot wrapped up, the Silverbacks are aiming for gold but have a few issues arising. Doubts on the fitness of Soward could leave the coach going ape. The no shows of gun Kieran Foran has also stunted team growth, with Stirling keen to trade in a new centre/wing as well as a star benchie before season's end.
