Looks like you can put a line through the bottom 7 for 2009. The top 8 is almost set in stone.

The Weston Wolves are poised for a big upset this week over The Banks Bandits. The Wolves lead by 29 points with the Bandits still having an emergency substitute (Phil Graham) to come. Graham has only scored 19 points this round. :cmon

The Wolves are still a chance for a top 8 position even if it may look unlikely. Our next two matches are bottom 4 sides before we showdown with the Torrens Tigers in the final round.

Its heating up.

Going by the current scores, team 5 (Silverbacks :cmon ) and team 6 (Braddon Bombers) may have beaten teams 3 and 4 (Banks Bandits and Tuggers Thunder).

Four teams on 18 pts! Possibly. :o

16. Gungahlin Big Guns Steve 13 0 0 13 0-5 6347 7554 -1207 0

So with 2 rounds to go until the finals, the top 7 have sealed their finals berth, while the Grizzlies are 1 point away from doing so. If the Grizzlies lose both remaining games and the Tigers win theirs, the Tigers will replace them in the 8. Can't see it happening, we'll smash the Bombers this week and settle it once and for all.

The Untouchable will seal the minor premiership with a win next round, while the Big Guns have clinched the wooden spoon.

Don't forget the Wolves skeepe. They're even with the Tigers on 12 points after thrashing the lowly LBG stingrays :thumbsup They face the even lower Batemans Bay Rats this coming week before showing off for a possible finals spot with the Tigers.

According to the site:
Rounds 23-26 will comprise of a top 8 finals series, based around the real McIntyre Final 8 system as used in the NRL, to find the overall league premiers. The bottom 8 will also play off for the league's minor premiership. All 3 leagues that you may join will have their own fixture and finals.
Well theres still competition for the bottom dwellers.

Are trades still available during the finals? I can't find any details.

Well that's the top 8 decided, just a fight for positions now. Very satisfying to get the win over the Bombers, especially since I forgot Fitzgibbon was back last round and he ended up scoring 50.
