The GH Premiership 2009

Post by Lurch »

There, I've got the ball rolling... Now for a GH Admin monkey to do the dirty work ;)

No sign of Daily Telegraph comp yet.
Official NRL.com one has kicked off.
FoxSports ready for registrations (but only 8 teams a league)

I'll be in. Think I deserve to after taking out the minor premiership last year :P

I thought the Tele one was pretty good last year but I'd be happy with any.

Thought I deserved to be in last year after being runner up in 2007. But nope. :(

NearlyNRL is probably the best one out there (since VNRL aint coming back) but costs money for a private league.

:hmmm Better keep my eye open for it then to make sure I get in.

VNRL was great when that was around.

The LBG Stingrays will be back again

They have been in training all off season, don't think they have been sober yet?

Im keen to get back in on it just tell me the site and time and ill be there.

PS Rick James if you're out there can you help me change the team's emblem?
My favorite forum member is 100%Green. Why? Because anyone who can convince my wife who runs two watch shops and doesnt realy like the Raiders to buy me a limited edition centenary of league Raiders watch is alright in my books.

It's hard god-damn work being a Raiders supporter!

Consider your spot filled.

I'm yet to decide on a name from the Stirling Silverbacks, the Waramanga War Mongers, or the Fyshwick Fish Sticks.

:hmmm

Heres another one in the same mould as the others.

Would still prefer one in the format of the old VNRL, in that everyone's roster is different.

Looks good but you can only have up to 12 teams.

I had a look at the the NRL one and it seems to be the same as the Tele one from last year.

I like the look of that one lurchy but the site seems abit mehish, not really a professional looking site, it could be unreliable
im favouring NRL.com
I've gone ahead and set up a comp at NRL.com
Im registered as the Phillip Eagles

PM Me for details of the League Code. Im saving places for reoccuring teams from last year

:hmmm You might be right. Theres a thread on LeagueUnlimited with two blokes who run the comp if you wanted to research it further. Sounds okay. They've been running it privately for 6 years, but this year is the first time its gone public so theres a good chance there will be a few bugs. But the draft system is oh so tempting.

This is in the middle of the thread with a pic of how you can customize the comp.
http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showt ... 81&page=16

NRL.com does have prizes on offer so could be the goods.

If theres enough interest we could possibly have two comps. Not a top tier and second tier, but maybe a northside and southside. Just so everyone feels equally loved :opps

Screenshot the website, then paste it into Paint or such and crop it down to just the logo, then insert that into your jersey picture
