Mr. 0.0% would know ;)

But nah, I agree with your disagreement. Looking back at the old days of the Golden Boogs there were some great award categories.
Of course Pigman is right..... Such a sanitized place these days and it's killing the site.

Honestly, some of you blokes ought to take a dose of reality. This site has tens of thousands of followers. It is a football site, principally, here to discuss the Raiders and promote the following of the club.

We simply cannot allow some of the standards of language and behaviour that you might see on a Kings Cross Saturday night or in a closed Facebook group.

And, remarkably, rather than killing the site, it grows, and based on our stats, has site traffic bigger than any Raiders site.

We're more than happy for irreverence, joking, and above all it is an independent voice for the fans. But there's got to be a bit of responsibility shown, and that's why we have site guidelines.

I'm sorry Pigman, I do understand what people are harking for. I understand it and sympathise. It is like they hark to sit in the car on the hill at Seiffert. The site expanded and grew way beyond the 50 friends who just talked to each other, like at the pub. Or in mega MSN chats... For better or worse, it is what happens in a changing world.

2014 Golden Boogs Awards Ceremony

Post by Raider Bell »

I see a lot of similarities between the NRL and the GH. Accepting women, removing the stereotypical images that people connotate with rugby league etc.

Both are at a stage where they need to adapt if they want to continue to grow. Both need to successfully cater for young families, or they can keep doing it the way they have and go no where.

The GH old way is a bit like the 50 year old white male board members of the NRL, wouldn't you say Pigman? What's your opinion on that?

For the record the GH is miles ahead of the NRL on every social issue.

I humbly apologise. I actually stopped for a few seconds and thought about what was the correct word to use, I was pretty tired so just thought I'd run with it.

Thanks for setting me on the straight and narrow.

Question... What ever happened to the Greenhouse Immortals, which I believe contained thickos and Bay56?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

That's a general question, not a question aimed at Question. Although that doesn't exclude Question from answering. All comers are welcome. Even Question!

What's the question?
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

Bay56 is still there.

I think Thickos went to Canada to find more resources to construct a death ray.

Mmm... Death ray...

My question was more along the lines of why they aren't still Immortals?

Wow.

Mate if some people want to keep that award as a reason to waste their time engaging with you then it's fine by me. At least previous winners of that award had a point. Personally I just find you boring and tedious.
