So that's three players locked in...
Don't forget we still have polls open, including the latest vote for the starting props. The second prop spot is still contentious. So vote here:

Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team - Progressive Resul
We've now called the polls for props and second rowers, with Ruben Wiki in the top two for both, he was selected in the second row, as he attracted more votes in that poll.
The poll for centres is now open: http://www.thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21155
Plus the poll for lock is still open and will close soon: http://www.thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21129

Great team, good voting process,no complaints. However , I cannot believe Brett Mullins didn't get in there somewhere.

had mine slightly different but can't argue with that selection.
Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team - Results
And that's the coach decided. And that's the full squad!

That was my only disagreement.Begbie wrote:Great team, good voting process,no complaints. However , I cannot believe Brett Mullins didn't get in there somewhere.
Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team - Results
Also sad not to see Clinton Schifcofske or Ken Negas in there. Both were great for the Raiders.

Shif and Nagas, were good, bloody good, however their omission I can accept.
Mullins on the other hand was a once in a generation talent whose omission is totally unacceptable. I'd slot him in for Jackson or O'Sullivan- take your pick. Bottom line- he has to be there somewhere.

I'm sorry GE- I am am right on this one. Mullins should be in the squad.
Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team
I know this is a 30 year team, but would there be an argument for a couple of changes to the all time side? I think there is an argument for Shillo, Fensom and Dugan on the bench already.

Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team
Shillo is about 100km away from the Raiders top prop of all time. Give me a break, we have Lazurus, Wiki, Todd, Pongia, Backo and Lomax all ten times the player shillo is.
Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team
Calm down, who said he is better then Lazzo or Backo? Wiki played less then 20 games in the front row for us so I don't know why he is getting mentioned. If you remove the rose colored glasses and look past 1994 alone I think he deserves to be considered with Lomax, Pongia and Todd.Begbie wrote:Shillo is about 100km away from the Raiders top prop of all time. Re: 30 Years Canberra Raiders Dream Team
Ok, so my last call for potential changes to this side was a shocker, but would Papa or Hodgo have forced their way into the 35 year team next year?
