Anyone know what CNK's contract situation is? Word is that RTS is planning to quit the Warriors to move to the Auckland Blues Super Rugby side in 2022. That gives him a shot at making the All Blacks World Cup side in 2023. This means the Warriors will suddenly have $1 million freed up in salary cap space.

Looking at potential replacements that have been touted on Foxsports' NRL website, the only established fullback who would be worth looking at that might be available is Matt Dufty. Our new recruit from Penrith, Caleb Aekins, also got a mention since his contract is only for this year. However, CNK could be tempted by a big payday and a chance to return to NZ.

That confirms that Albert Hopoate is not in the top 30, and there is still a spot open. Given the new rule which allows NSW Cup players to be drawn upon for the NRL after Round 11, that is a bit less significant.

It cannot be right. I think I'll wait for the Raiders to tell us the list.

That would have to be incorrect given he played the trial and was in the latest pre season photos.

He hasn't been released. He's in line to take the 30th spot if Croker is not fit, according to The Canberra Times tonight. That list on NRL.com is incorrect, as it incorrectly lists Albert Hopoate and Trey Mooney in our top 30. If Kris doesn't get a top 30 spot, immediately he'll get a NSW Cup contract. He was on the main stage tonight at the season launch.
