I feel like im on my own here, but i think he's a very solid NRL footballer. I think he's going to have a good NRL career and probably not here, but somewhere he'll be pretty solid

I agree. I think Kris will be even better than solid. He is a good defender too.

He's always been a good defender but in his last game of the season he actually added some tough runs as well. That's been my main issue with him.
The guys he's competing against for those few first grade games like Oldfield and HSS are better runners than he is so any gap he can close there is going to be a big help to his case.

With Leilua likely out the door who do we see as getting that 29th roster spot? Obvious choice to me seems to be Matt Frawley for extra halves depth. Although Daine Spencer also travelled with the team to the Sunshine Coast and looked good from what little I saw of him. (I was focussing more on the firsts team) However our outside back depth is pretty stacked already.
Dan Keir also travelled. Fun fact! Dan was 2 years below me in primary school. His sister Lauren was in my year.

Or do we think we’ll see a late off season signing?

Should Leilua leave, I think it'll be a minimum contract player who takes the 29th spot, leaving as much space as possible in the cap for Wighton and Bateman.

You were 100% correct. The guy had a temper we knew that but you would think coming to a new club with a great new no Bull culture has come down and did what he does.

Some on Facebook saying he'll be a blue shirt for the Raiders this year... no idea if it is true.

They way he commentated during our nines game suggested he spent some time with the over summer. I got the impression he must still be involved with the club in some capacity

27. I understand the NRL won’t be enforcing the requirement that there be 30 players by 30 June. I expect there’d be leniency too for late signings.
