I can't see him on the front page but I think Royce Hunt is actually contracted for another year,

That’s strange because the link also lists his deal as expiring in 2018 in the first section.

Can't find any info on it. Not even a re-signing post on the raiders website. Not even information on when Hunt signed for this year. No mention of it on TheGH either. He just appears in the 2018 squad lists when the pre-season info is released.
Has anyone confirmed he's actually a real person and not some government hoax?

I think that list is wrong in a number of ways. For example Bill Cullen left ages ago. I can’t find any evidence that Royce Hunt has a new deal apart from this list. I don’t believe Moceidreke is contracted to the Raiders, but of course, I could be wrong.
I actually think our list in the original post is more up to date and accurate. But as always, happy for anyone to point out errors and omissions.

I think with the new coaching staff it will be great for the Mac to nurture our young halves. With Ash Barnes looking after the twenties its a win win. The 20’s squad looks strong again. I hope they take a punt on some of the young halves and mould them into exactly what they want. Players who can steer and shutdown games.

We all know what is going to happen here. We'll stumble into the finals in either of the next 2 seasons which will trigger an immediate extension. We are a 'no surprises' club, with the recent exception of 2016.

He was under contract... so at the least we have released him. We seem to be on a never ending cycle of failing to learn.

We should be using our rookie contracts better for long term development. With Roache departing and with one spare i would be locking Medlyn and Westcott in and let them play a full season of ISP instead of 20’s. That has to be better than letting them play 20’s all year.
