Rumours doing the rounds at LU are Picker and Tongue > Newcastle

Both are still on contract, highly unlikely

Mate, they aren't rumours, that's Knights fans having wet dreams. They are just trying to wind us up, your best bet would be to steer clear and ignore them both.

Pretty sure the story on Robert is his wife moved down here with work and he just came and had a trial. He didnt play any PL trials but might not be bad for depth since he has played first grade.

Wasn't Albert Torrens trialling with us at the end of last season? Whatever happened to that? Not that I want him around or anything.

Matt Bickerstaff - end 2008 - Havent seen how he plays yet

Colin Best - end 2008 - Will retire/england, will have served his purpose
Matt Bickerstaff - end 2008 - if he plays like he did for the dragons, definite keeper
Glenn Buttriss - end 2008 - Great young talent, hang on to
Terry Campese - end 2008 - I dont see a stable FG future for him with us anymore, but we'll see how he goes, good depth player
Todd Carney - end 2008 - Re-sign ASAP, till 2015 works for me
Marshall Chalk - end 2008 - he needs to find his position and excell at it, otherwise he is no use to us
Neville Costigan - end 2008 - Keeper, origin player
Brad Cross - end 2008 - at worst will be a good depth centre for us, PL contract.
Michael Dobson - end 2007 - Re-sign ASAP, 2015 sounds good
Andrew Dunemann - end 2008 - Couldnt see much use in him to begin with, still dont to a large degree, hooroo
Vili Faingaa - end 2007 - Not seen much of him
Craig Frawley - end 2007 - **** him off
Bronx Goodwin - end 2008 - Re-sign, and find a place for him in the side
Phil Graham - end 2009 - re-sign, 2015 again
Marc Herbert - end 2010 - see how he develops, but things arnt looking good unless we lose one of carney or dobson, id be keeping him for back up but a bloke of his talents, if he cant get a FG spot here, he should look elsewhere
Ryan Hinchcliffe - end 2007 - Dont rate him that highly as a rake, if withers is not the answer, id be looking to move Herbert in to rake and see what happens if we lock carney, zillman and dobbo up long term
David Howell - end 2008 - release him early, he'll get a gig at penrith for sure
Steve Irwin - end 2008 - Depth player, nothing more, better then howell though
Ben Jones - end 2008 - Still not sold, he has had a good start to this year but remember he was Kahler esque for along time before that, if he keeps his form till next season, then we'll talk
Brett Kelly - end 2008 - Will be our future centre partner for graham imo, sign him up
Thom Learoyd Lahrs - end 2009 - extend this man till 2015 and beyond
Scott Logan - end 2008 - probably retire, much like adamson and smith before him, he'll have served his purpose by that time
Josh McCrone - end 2007 - keep him, good talent this kid
Steve McLean - end 2007 - Another good young talent, PL contract, and see if he can force his way in
Josh Miller - end 2009 - Re-sign long term, he is a gun
David Milne - end 2008 - needs to do something with himself, propell himself into the team some how, i still think potentially he is one of our better backs, great pace, very good defender and is a tidy finisher, really needs to step up this year
Jack Pearson - end 2008 - see how he goes, 50/50
Joe Picker - end 2010 - 2015 along with the other guns
Adrian Purtell - end 2008 - he has along way to go, he is improving but im not sure its at a rate good enough to warrent another contract, especially if we sign a marqee outside back
Willie Raston - end 2008 - with our current front row depth and blokes like tim weyman coming through the best he can hope for is a pl contract at this stage
Alan Rothery - end 2008 - re-sign him for depth, pl contract
Junior Sau - end 2007 - needs to prove his worth, he has a big future if he gets his game right, re-sign him
Troy Thompson - end 2010 - Extend his contract
Trevor Thurling - end 2008 - re-sign, on the cusp of FG and a very good player imo
Dane Tilse - end 2010 - Extend his contract
Alan Tongue - end 2008 - Captain tonguey will be re-signed long term, no doubts
Glen Turner - end 2008 - will have served his purpose too, england will be calling
Michael Weyman - end 2008 - Extend his contract
Jason Williams - end 2007 - times up for williams, good bloke but thems the breaks
Lincoln Withers - end 2009 - see how he goes but he needs to be more consistant
William Zillman - end 2009 - Extend his contract till 2020!

I have read that Carney/Zilly mentioned something about a pact they all made to stay together if they could

Aside from Hinchy and Sau, the others don't seem like huge losses from what I hear, but I could be wrong...

I wonder if we will re-sign Hinchcliffe or if Elliott will make a move on him too?

IMO Priddis has been in very poor form lately and may be shown the door. But then they have Aiton too...

He played OK in PL earlier in the season before getting injured.

I'd still like to see him stay. He is a BIG kid and i think it could take a few years for himto reach his potential, i think big forwards can take a while to warm up, Kite being an example, he wasnt great for us from memory...

I think McClean would be worth hanging onto to see how he develops...

Heard on Fox over the weekend that Tony Martin is off contract and likely to be released......wouldnt mind seeing at the Raiders. Can goal kick as well!

Think they were also releasing Byrne and Gatis also.

Sign him up I say. The experience in the 3/4 line is what is needed, plus the added bonus of him being a good goalkicker.

Think we tried to get Martin a few years back before he signed with the Warriors.

Would be great if we got him imo!

Surely you blokes are taking the piss

martin? The bloke was great back in his melbourne days, its been a long time since then, he cant get a gig for the warriors because he is too slow... and as for his goal kicking, we've got carney, dobson and goodwin whom are all decent enough goal kickers.

Even if you hate the bloke, look at it objectively and you'll see clearly that Monaghan is a much better option then Martin
infact the only better outside back option then Monaghan on the open market that im aware of is Whatuira
