University research on athlete activism in sport
Dear all,
I am involved in some research looking at sportsmen and women's activism in sport. I have created a short survey that should only take a few minutes of your time: https://northumbria.onlinesurveys.ac.uk ... e-activism
Participation is completely voluntary, but I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this subject area.

We have given special dispensation for this survey to appear in the Canberra Raiders board. It will be moved after the survey closes.

Done and done!

Done. I even completed it on one knee with a gloved raised fist.
For overseas GHers it’s worth reading on Wikipedia about Peter Norman who was the silver medallist at Mexico 1968 and still holds the Australian 200m record to this day.

Anyone who doesnt know about Peter Norman needs to hand their sports card back in.
How he was treated in the aftermath of that event was a disgrace. It's a black mark against this country and one we should never allow ourselves to forget.

Done but not easy to give a yes or no for the first question, needed a third option of sometimes or split it up into yes/,no for each of political, social issues

Yeah I didn’t think it was the best survey I’ve ever completed. A question asking what age range you fall into followed by a question asking your exact age is just sloppy stuff.
