TV coverage: Fox League Channel 502
Radio: ABC, Mix 106.3, 2CC

The Canberra Raiders suffered a humiliating 44-16 loss to the Sydney Roosters in Round 12, capping off a week from hell. The Raiders led 10-0 at the 30th minute and then again faded badly. They have a week off - due to the mid season bye - before they return to Canberra Stadium in Round 14 for a clash with the Brisbane Broncos. Josh Papalii, Joe Tapine and Semi Valemei are in line for a return. Who would you like to see turn out in green for the game? Name your team and see how you go when the official teams are named on Tuesday.

Plus we're playing the Broncos. If any team is suffering more pain than us right now it's them.

The Broncos are extremely inconsistent but their good games are so much better than ours. It would be so depressing to lose to them, but we probably deserve it.

Broncos beat the Roosters easily with Radley and Crichton.

We will struggle to beat them. Their fullback, wings and forward pack are better than ours

this team Would never happen though, I dont wish bad apon Aitkens but if he is selected Ricky is off his head, I have never seen a FB turn their back on the opposition to catch a bomb, we got hammered by a Reserve Grade Roosters team that never got out of 2nd gear, Srsly Manu was walking around us. Very hard to watch, but we got a much very much needed BYE, followed by a game against the slightly improving Broncos at Home, then Dragons, then Titans, then non origin manly, then the sharks, the way we going, we lose all those games...or the broncos game is the start of a revival

Broncos are coming off a wooden spoon and currently 2nd last at -154 differential. You will not find 1 Broncos fan who reckons they are feeling less pain than Raiders. Jagging a win against Roosters who were on tilt doesn't change their situation.

That said it's no win in the bag for us. We need to turn around this current slump of we're at serious risk of losing to one of the worst teams in the comp.

I disagree, we’re in a much bigger hole than them. Our season has now hit Broncos 2020 level.

I think the fans should vote on their feet and tell the club we are not doing it as what's been happening is unacceptable. I get it if we lose but the fans want to see commitment, effort, resilience and accountability. I respect the fans for travelling last night, turning up to games when it's freezing and spending money on the club. But the club, coach and players need to do their part. Enough is enough.

I did suggest that we look for a short term replacement for CNK when he was ruled out for the rest of the season but that was dismissed. I don't think Caleb is the answer. Or Bailey, Jack, Rapana. But our season is over. I was hoping that we could make top 6-7 so really give it a push next year but that is fanciful.

Caleb is only one reason we are not doing well and we shouldn't blame it on him.

Just back Broncos in this game to cover your stake. That way they are free bets afterward.

Agree it can't be put on one person. Equally though you can't persist with those that are not going to provide a solution. I'd rather shift Simo back there and hope he's more effective at diffusing kicks. Go with Valemi on the wing or even try Savage or Timoko. We have to look forward right now. May as well give exposure to guys who could be part of our top 17 for 2022.

Yep 100% - I don’t for a second think that swapping Aekens out is an instant fix to all this teams woes, but I also don’t think there is anything to be gained from keeping him at fullback. He’s proven beyond all doubt he hasn’t got it so start the search for someone better in that position.
