Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad out for the season

Post by greeneyed »

Canberra Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad sets sights on Round 12 return against the Sydney Roosters

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad's sights are set on a return to the field in Round 12 .

"I get a scan early Thursday morning and catch up with the specialist in the afternoon, and then hopefully he gives me the all clear to come back to play," Nicoll-Klokstad said. "The best scenario would be to get cleared and have a week of contact and then maybe push for Roosters, but at this stage worst-case scenario would be maybe the game after the bye.

My favourite player ever since he pulled the green jersey on.

Not the flashiest of fullbacks but is just a 110% effort player week in week out and so solid defensively.

Wowee, so if we can somehow scrap out a win against the Dogs this weekend and lose to the Storm next we’ll have our boi back? Come on!

Harry Grant and Munster ruled out of our game already next week, another dozen or so injuries this week for the storm and we might be a chance.

How raiders would that be? lose to the cowboys, Knights, warriors, Rabbits get spanked by the Panthers and eels then beat Melbourne?

Somehow Belly will find 17 dudes from QCup reserve grade, give them the intro into Storm culture and they’d spank us hard..

Is it just me or would it be better to be careful and have him come back after the bye

I know we desperatly need him, but can we afford to lose him for the season if he reinjures his neck???

Yeah heard that and rolled my eyes. Sometimes I wonder if those fox dudes actually do any research. I wasn't the slightest but concerned by the comment. I reckon the man himself would have a better idea on when he'll return and for the record, I'd play him the first week he is good to go

Clearly no homework done from Fox league persons.

The close talker rattled off our injury list pre game yesterday.

No Tapine
No Sutton
No CNK
He didn’t mention Croker at all..

If CNK now needs surgery, I’m guessing he won’t be back next week. Or for the rest of the year for that matter

Remind me again what punishment VKIkau copped for ending CNKs season.

Was it-
A on field penalty ?
Tackle placed on report.

Here's hoping the surgery is successful for CNK. Not just for his footy career but for his post football life. All the best mate.

Followed by an official apology to Panthers from Annersley for that penalty.

Feel this opens a door for Aekins. He has no power or speed but he got 3 assists against the dogs, so clearly there's some ball playing ability there. Now that GW is gone he's really going to need to step up and inject himself into the attack more.

We're not winning another game this season, and Frankly, we were super lucky to even beat the dogs.

This has got Broncos 2020 written all over it.
