Re: Clay Webb
I hold him singularly responsible for our loss yesterday.

Re: Clay Webb
Is he fit?
Re: Clay Webb
Does the pope **** in the woods?
Oh he doesn’t? Ok. Then I guess the answer is no.
Re: Clay Webb
looks very good in SG, not much of a chance in nsw cup but certainly an interesting prospect

Re: Clay Webb
Yeah, but can he play fullback?
Re: Clay Webb
Well he can't be any worse than what we've got at the moment, can he??
Give him a run, and give Sam Williams a run too

The single name threads after a few losses
Re: Clay Webb
Clay Webb. That's Clay on the left with Caleb Esera on the right. He was the captain of our SG Ball premiership winning team.
To be serious, he has serious potential. We've got some great forwards coming through. Webb, Esera and Mooney just terrific this year. I think he will challenge for a NSW Cup spot, as I recall, he's already had one shot this year.

Re: Clay Webb
But how does he stack up to the other Clay, Clay Priest?
Re: Clay Webb
I think the hype on Webb justifies moving Croker to the wing to accommodate him. Do it Rick, you coward
Re: Clay Webb
I think he and a number of others will get their chance in NSW Cup in the next few weeks.
If I am being honest about Webb, I see him as being a bit of a workhorse rather than a superstar. Probably a little in the Luke Bateman mould at that age - no surprise he is picked as captain. In the current squad probably think Darby Medlyn.
Personally, I think Savage, Esera, Mooney and Clarkson have a bit more of an x-factor than Webb, but they all have a long way to go and history says the best players in juniors won’t be the best long term.

They aren’t that different in how they play actually.Canberra Milk wrote: ↑May 9, 2021, 11:30 am But how does he stack up to the other Clay, Clay Priest?
