How good has Whitehead been for the Milk, so underrated.

Take away the offside penalty when Johnson dropped the ball, soft 'dangerous tackle' penalty on Walker and the six again when Kris didn't play at the ball and we would look a lot more comfortable.

Need to defend bad calls but when you are under the pump already, it would be handy to have at least half those calls go your way.

Before the game started I said that Whitehead moving to the right would be a blessing in disguise as they might get some actual ball down that edge and it looks to be correct so far.

Errrr... stick solid?

This100% Raiders are the worst when it comes to targeting playmakers in attack. They seem to prefer to target other forwards

Thought Scott also had a lot of good carries - very solid. Backs having their best game of the season this half

Second halves and sticking solid are where we’ve fallen down this season tremendously.

He has had his best half in green for me. Some very strong hard carries and good meters after contact

CHN's brain explosions will cost us in the big contests. He gave away penalties directly before
both tries with his offside chase and stupid push in the play the ball. You'll never coach that stuff out of him.

Good first half. Seen this movie before. Hopefully an alternate ending.

Young needs to sort himself out here. We are looking good otherwise.

Hopefully Starling has the energy to play the full 80 and we get some second phase off CHN. Starling can be quite dangerous out there. We need to play off the broken field defence he creates. We won't win off the back of structured footy.

Penalties 0 to 4, Ruck Infringements 2 to 0, Inside the ten 3 to 0 (although some of them were back to back). Crazy game. Our missed tackles will kill us though, 11 to 5 :(

CHN pushes the tackled player quite often actually. It was well milked, but it is really unnecessary and dumb.

Biggest difference so far imo is we are making a decent satrt to our sets. Outside backs making good metres. Simmonson especially, middle is rolling off the back of that through some nice simple direct play from Starling

More important that he uses the bench enough...
He has used the bench more (except when he was forced to) than he has all season so far, only player who road the pine all half was Soliola. I still think it's silly to save a forward but at least we had three unforced interchanges in a half.

Yeah. What he brings with ball in hand can't be questioned, it's great. But he's been cancelling it out with the dumb stuff his entire career.

Good call - I’d add Scott and Rapa have taken good early carries. Starling has outplayed Cook.

What we need is to remove the over-coaching, the slow block plays that we setup for slowly phase after phase, which kills any forward roll we have and sends us sideways.

Get quick ball to your halves inside the opposition twenty, have strong hard runners inside and out, and a decent second receiver able to roam both sides of the field - that's it.
