I find the comments about Papa from Stuart quite insulting and the mummy cuddling around Croker unfair. Papa missed one tackle against Parramatta against Papil’li, probably the first in a long time (Papa doesn’t miss many tackles in a year) and he is being hung out to dry and basically saying he is out of form. Then on the other side, Croker gets a fake injury, no mention of his poor form and can’t wait for him to be back. No wonder Papa’s wife is upset!

100% - very hard to understand the rationale behind this. Hopefully just poorly considered comments and nothing more to this... not a very smart way to handle a guy who you’d think would be first picked in the side each week.

Quotes I read suggested Croker was keen to play injured but Ricky was taking the advice of medical staff to protect him from himself for a week or two. I think the differing narrative Ricky is taking between a player badly out of form and one who is slightly below his elite standard is more the issue.

I love how fans scream at Ricky to make some tough decisions then when he does he gets criticised ..Hard to win.
With our Injuries it's kind of hard dropping outside backs at the moment especially if Timoko isn't ready

"He's still going to be training with the squad, but just not playing. We just need him to find and recapture that old Papa character and ability."

That line about Papa’s character worries me... EDIT I think there may be quite a disconnect between Stick and Papa at the moment. I do think the players are frustrated with Stick and they’re just not playing for him at the moment. Ugh this is really starting to feel like a 17/18 season.

Well I think most acknowledge that the team as a whole is playing poorly. Let's drop every single player (maybe Sutton, James and Starling get a reprieve?) and field a reserve grade side and then we can look at each other dumbfoundedly when we get 60 put on us.
