Oh wow looks like radicalraider was right all along! Guess the problem with having so much depth it's hard to keep them all happy.
Wonder how many players are going to want out?

No doubt Ricky is losing the dressing shed. Not long now... let’s hope we get a coaching change soon

What the hell no Papa - no way we are a better team without him. Set up a try last week - with Ricky's patented "throw it to that guy he's pretty good " move.

Why say rested? Rested from what - he only played about thirty minutes last week. What is going on!!!

This is deadset on the mark

The Raiders have turned from contenders into pretenders. Here’s where it’s gone wrong: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-pr ... 51c2ff640c

We're not gonna be carrying a back on the bench while we're running two hookers. It's one or the other.
First off, why, second are we carrying two hookers? Havilii is hardly being used, and usually when he does finally get a run it's at prop.
He did get a short stint out of dummy half in our last game, if I recall correctly. It looks like Hodgson is no longer able to go the full 80min so I think we need to adapt to a rotating hooker set up. I think it will suit our guys better with the pace of the game now anyway.

She had a go at the coach and said other players as being favourites
But literally every player in the pack has been dropped, rested or rotated out this season... Croker is out.

Except Whitehead? Rapana? :hmmm

If Papalii has been playing needled up for weeks, Ricky is doing the right thing giving him a rest. If he needs more than a week or two to get right, so be it. We have a truck load of middles. Let's see which ones can perform without Papalii there to show them the way. They're the ones who should stay there when Papalii returns.

As for Ricky playing favourites, in any organisation there are favourites. It seems to me he's bitten the bullet and dropped a couple of his untouchables in the last couple of weeks.

Has Ricky made some poor selections? I don't think his judgement on centres is much good, but beyond that his selections are reasonable. The best performed centre in the club is playing there this week.

Congratulations to Elliott Whitehead on the captaincy if that's what's happening. He's come a long way from the guy who debuted in 35 degree heat, was left out there all game and had people calling for him to be dropped to reserve grade the following week.

I think we can beat the Bunnies. And if we don't, I still think we can have a very good year.

The GH marshmellow brigade give up far too easily.

EDIT

I hope he heals up well, but damn if this mustn't be a huge blow, when his confidence was already shaky.

I actually agree with Sleek for once... this is the best team we’ve named in a few weeks, and (except for Papalii), the best one we can currently name.

I don’t think we’ll beat Souths, but I certainly don’t think our season is over yet either.

When Ricky says he wants the old Papa back perhaps he just isn’t on board with the new pronunciation - thinks that old Pap-par-lee bloke was a better version of this new pup-a-le-i fella?

Well, I got edited.

But I'm not as quick to forgive the person who was hoping for it on Saturday. That was completely unforgivable.

I think the season is over as far as top 4 and premierships go but I will enjoy the top 8 nonetheless.

If we could move on one of our middles this year and bring on a metre making winger before the cut-off, I think we could be very competitive this year. We're not a trash team. We're in a bad form slump and we've had some poor game plans that haven't worked out with the changes in the game.

I’d be in the same boat if it means we blood our young backline players to get there...

Beyond that the season would be a failure.

Still can’t wrap my head around what is going on with Papalli...

It is a tough pill to swallow that we’ve gone from a bona fide Top 4 team and potential premiership contender to hopefully scraping into the 8 and no chance of winning all within three weeks, but it is what it is.
