This analysis backs up what I was saying earlier - the Panthers points came on the back of us losing CNK, and our outside backs/second rowers/halves having to compensate by defending out of position, in which they were clearly exposed. I still reckon if we didn't lose CNK we either win or lose a much tighter contest.Canberra Milk wrote: ↑April 15, 2021, 10:42 am Seibold on the game, probably nothing we didn't already know but still interesting:

I 100% think that, and think the next month or so could be particularly rough without him.Finchy wrote: ↑April 15, 2021, 12:18 pmThis analysis backs up what I was saying earlier - the Panthers points came on the back of us losing CNK, and our outside backs/second rowers/halves having to compensate by defending out of position, in which they were clearly exposed. Once he's back I'm supremely confident we're a Top 4 team with potential to win the whole thing though, despite all the doom and gloom around these parts everytime we have a loss.

Correct. I dont know if we win the game with CNK, but it's a totally different ball game.Finchy wrote: ↑April 15, 2021, 12:18 pmThis analysis backs up what I was saying earlier - the Panthers points came on the back of us losing CNK, and our outside backs/second rowers/halves having to compensate by defending out of position, in which they were clearly exposed. The panthers are really good, they're the premiership favourites for a reason. To beat them you're going to have to play at something like 90-95% of your best, and even then that may not be enough
Losing a key player like handicaps you at 70% at best. So unless something truly wild occurs, and this is sport so it can happen... but in all likelihood the game is done the moment that player cant return
