Rapa is my first choice right winger. You need a left winger that can finish with their left hand. Those are the fine margins these days.

These are professional athletes being paid exorbitant amounts of money to win. They were good enoigh to get 21 points ahead, they need to be good enough to manage the game - and all associated hurdles - to hold on and win.

The best teams do and we didn't. I have no time for 'bravery' or other buzzwords/soundbites after a match like that.
Mate quite simply you go out the and play for 80 mins straight most of our props play 50-60 mins tops. Yet tonight Papa and Sutton probably had 5-10 minutes off the field. Toots dislocated a finger and stayed out Curtis has a God damn broken rib stayed out there. Nearly all the boys worked their arses off tonight and we lost on some bull crap refereeing decisions.
I'll use brave every god damn time this game is mentioned. We had absolutely no right to score 31 points but we did and you want to be gutless and attack people cause we use the word brave get the F out of here.

I guess we owed one from last week. But that one hurt. I always say you have to be better than the refs but goodness me, we were up against it.

Heart breaking loss. Absolutely heart breaking so emotions will be high

I try to stay calm at times like this and wonder where the influence is in a 50/50 game.

I honestly think Perinara’s calls in the first fifteen of the 2nd half half had a significant influence. The “forward pass” is a clumsy excuse, but there were several holding tackles and 6-again calls that we were denied.

Proud of our squad, and super proud of our medical staff for ruling the 50/50’s in favour of our players’ welfare

Agreed.
Simple Jack kicks out on a full when we needed to make them work for it, and they score.
Whitehead tries to offload on 3rd tackle when we desperately needed to hold on to it.

Classic Raiders.

Being better than the refs is a luxury when you’re significantly better than the opposition.

In close or even games, it’s not a rational take.

Amazing how the video ref was very quiet on that one. Our boys stopped cause that idiot stopped even the commentators thought he called it
The video ref can’t overturn a forward pass

Courageous given everything, but deflating.
Raps should have finished at the end 9.99 out of 10 he nails that, so that’s disappointing.

Can’t be too judgy given the circumstances and it’s only Rd3.

You’d have to think Tapine and Scott out next week and the other two will have to work the protocol. Hard to know who comes in after that insipid reggies performance earlier but we will have to get up and go again and Titans will be tough. At least Huddo back to mark Fifita 🙏🙏

No need to be a keyboard warrior. Have a thoughtful argument prepared and present it.

Personally, I don't think it is good enough given the lead they had - all things considered.

That BMM try was an absolute disgrace. Not to mention about 10 of Egan’s passes from dummy half.

Expected to lose that game given the circumstances but **** me I just wish I could cop a loss now and then and not know the ineptitude of refereeing played a part.

He has missed out on plenty of opportunities like that on the left wing the last two years. That was one of his better attempts.

Yeah that's the question... sure, on SD cameras from the 1990's, ruling on forward passes would be a bit hard, and in general play don't bother, but in situations like that, when it's not just "floating forward" but basically a Quarterback pass? It's just pathetic that the bunker has to sit on it's hands and pretend everything is OK...

Yeah, it's laced with frustrating but I stand by it. We have to learn to overcome obstacles better. It isn't 12 or 15 points, it was 21!!! That isn't all down to Perenara as some of the other guys have pointed out.

RTS said they targeted Scott and it was obvious.. He couldn't make a tackle.. who cares who plays left or right.. you just want to stop the leak of points with someone who can atleasr tackle.. if we played with 12 instead of Scott we don't lose!

We had no middle bench, one centre dislocated his finger, one fractured his ribs
We had havilii playing edge
Hodgson playing as a middle running forward
And the officials had a terrible game at our expense

Yep, hard to remember a game with that sort of injury toll and decisions go against us and still just lose. Offloads were 20-3 in the end. Unbelievable.

Warriors are a very good team too.
