True, it can't be Guler under the rules. Interesting that the 18-21 have a half, hooker, FB and a three quarter. Sticky is pragmatic so given CNK and BS needed medical attention in the last match, I reckon the last 2 are there in case there is some issue during the week with the backline.

Ron Giteau. Now there's a name.

GE do general admission members need to purchase a seat again?

wouldn't have a clue. If it doesn't happen though at least I'll know my mate and his "club contacts" are full of you know what.
It can't happen, as Guler's not in the 21 man squad. The Raiders can only bring in a player on the four man extended bench. Can't see why the NRL would entertain any exemption from the rule (and I can't remember them doing it since the 21 man squads were introduced).
There's been a couple of swaps due to illness. And whatever player from the Bulldogs? who got excluded as a covid precaution last year

There have been a couple of exemptions allowed. I can remember Jacob Liddle playing for the Tigers after their hooker (it might have been Farah) woke up crook on game day. Liddle had played NSW Cup the day before so it was obvious there was nothing funny going on.

Does chiefing someone sit above buddy but a fair way below champing them?

Champ is definitely at the top, nothing more disrespectful then being champed
Not sure about the rest. Also where does pal fit in?

Interesting question. I think the hierarchy is as follows:

pal
champ
chief
sport
buddy
champion

Hope that helps, champ.

Serious note. Why isn't CHN in reggies lineup? SUrely he'd be better off getting some gametime than cooling his heels doing nothing?

Is that a sign he's really on the nose with Ricky (which is often a no way back, seeya mate, scenario)?

He’s gotta be injured, there’s no way Sticky would be leaving him out of reserves otherwise.

I think I remember someone mentioning he was injured before the trial was even played? Probably that.

CHT is a big out for them. O’Sullivan is a decent organiser, but he is a liability defensively, and showed that in their trial. Should look to target him as much as possible, his contact is poor and also his decision making. If Young plays, he will have a lot of joy running at him. Addin Fonua-Blake has a habit of killing us every time we play him - through metres and offloads, need to make sure we wrap the ball up as well as we can. Limiting metres from their back 3 and Fonua-Blake will be crucial, and then using our field position to target O’Sullivan one one side and the Hiku/Nikorima combination on the other.

Doubtful. Stick says he wants both those blokes to work their way back through reggies and it's exactly what he'll do.

No point holding him out of reserves any longer than he needs to IMO.

Yep, that's my take. Stick is making a point to him and example of him to the rest by going beyond the mandatory punishment IMO.

You don't get to play at all if you're not focussed and acting like a professional.

Agree. There is no chance Sticky would leave him out of all squads (and potentially gain match fitness).
Even if Sticky decided he wanted him gone, he would play him for market value purposes...

'Sticky was looking after me': Croker primed after extra time off

Raiders skipper Jarrod Croker said he didn't enjoy sitting back and watching the opening two rounds but knows coach Ricky Stuart was looking after his long-term well-being in keeping him on ice.

"By not playing I've had three weeks of full-on training, weights and getting the shoulder strong so a mix of that and training with the boys as well, getting into all the detail around the game and getting out on the park with the team for a month."
