Canberra Raiders confident that NRL will ensure sodden Jubilee Stadium is safe... while NRL expects all games will be going ahead
Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner is sure the NRL will ensure a sodden Kogarah Park is safe to play on when they meet the Sharks on Sunday evening. Last season Raiders centre Harley Smith-Shields slid into the fence and sliding in the wet - with the fence very close to the field of play - could be an issue on Sunday.

Sam Williams returning to scene of Rookie Raiders' Shark attack
Round 20 2020. It will go down as one of the proudest moments of Sam Williams' career. Captaining his beloved Green Machine. Williams will take his snorkel to warm up - as a reserve - with the Green Machine on Sunday as they prepare to again take on the Sharks in rain-drenched Sydney.
"The players on the fringe want to do everything they can to help this first-grade side and if that means I don't play as much footy as some of the younger kids at times then that's my role," Williams said.

Yeah, with Hodgo and James coming back from knee recos, that's my biggest fear. Hopefully we get through unscathed. The conditions underfoot will obviously be terrible.
