Would love to get A.Reynolds
Him and wighton would be a great pairing and would be the goal kicker we need as croker won’t be in the team.

Agree jimmy. Trying to sign hynes and shifting cnk around would be good roster refreshing also

Uncle Nick probably plays 30 High Stakes Rounds of Golf with every Walker in the family to ensure he stays but if Hodgson and Williams were to leave a Godfather offer to Sam Walker wouldn't be that silly of an idea.

Raiders player signing speculation 2021

If we want to try and keep the premiership window from slamming shut I think Reynolds is the only option.
Match Cronulla's 3 year 800k a season offer and see what happens.
I'd say our only chance is that he might see us a more realistic premiership chance than the Sharks or Broncos.
All the other halves on the market that are on the wrong side of 30 would be a waste of time I'd say.

I feel like Souths must know something about Reynolds that the rest of the league world don’t.

I Like the look of that Zac Cinni, although would prefer he got some tanning lotion massaged intensely over him.

We really should be throwing our hat in the ring for Coates. He's the exact type of player we're missing in our back five. Word is Titans are offering him just over $1mil for two years... give him $1.5mil for three years if that's what it will take.

We've missed the boat on that.
I know a guy very close to the situation, and he's a done deal for the storm.

You heard it here first.

Or like 3 days after the Storm announced it...

ahh ****. I understand the mentality of not wanting to engage in bidding wars but Coates at less than $450k a season for Melbourne is a steal.

Don't the likes of Coates get resentful, knowing they're on unders and effectively being lowballed? I don't get it

I mean is the Storm **** that good

Origin gig= +100/150k.

Play for crap team= origin in doubt (see Cotric).

Even without conspiracy theories.

hard to imagine that Cotric got 650k and Addo-Carr and Coates have since signed for 425k and 500k each.

I'd love to see us make a play for Dallin Watene-Zelezniak. Was a gun when at the Panthers. Sign him as a winger who can fill in at full back as required. On contract until end of 22 but try and get him for start of next year. Shouldn't break the bank and has plenty of up side imo

Melbourne got a steal and Coates will benefit from the move too...

Coates will play origin regardless. With respect to Queensland backline, it's not stacked like NSW's

Players are just **** and want to take the path of least resistance. Storm being a successful mega-team is just becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy

Id be open to that as long as he's willing to accept that he's a winger and nothing more. He's not a fullback, not a centre. Just focus on being the best winger he can be.
I dont think that's where he's at though

Tapine and Papa are the trump cards of our pack. If he leaves, combined with GWilly already leaving, we are in big big trouble. A return to the bad old days of mid 2000s on the cards...

I'm meh on losing Tapine

He's an absolute jet on his day, but he's never been consistently a jet for us like Papa has, and he has either been injured or suspended way too much for someone on his $$

If we lost Papa then I'd say we should just pack it up.

Time to open the cheque book and make a huge play for Papenhuyzen. 5 year deal, $1m + per year. Bellamy said he is still negotiating so obvousily looking for $$. Then build a team around him and Wighton!

Yes to this. He could save us from oblivion actually. Absolutely someone to build a club around. And if he goes to ****, then we know 100% that Sticky can't coach and has to go

I agree that Paps would be a great signing but why not settle for the original in Dufty

Comes for half the price and will provide 70% of what Paps does

I already mentioned Liam Martin in another thread but would love us to have a go at Hectic Cheese also and play him at lock

Run a much smaller pack with plenty of leg speed will get us in front of these rule changes

Also pretty meh on Tapine, last year was kinda frustrating hearing that he’s finally going to the gym and tbh I’ve never forgiven him for turning his back on the try line in the GF

No, but we're not getting Paps
Come on Kman... you're the guy telling us, rightfully so, to be realistic about halfback options. We're not getting Pap. No one is. He's staying at the storm.

We might be able to get Dufty.
