The style of game has changed, as has the creative requirement from various spine positions. Its not the only position changing - an old school regimented block play style halfback is a dead position now as well. Its no surprise that the most impressive halves as the season goes on are the instinctive free flowing types.Matt wrote: ↑June 3, 2021, 11:46 amLudicrous, not sure about that. He wouldn’t have worked in Canberra, let it go!
I respect him for talking about his mental health issues. I think being closer to the beach is important so he can relax in his spare time. My guess is that he just wouldn’t have enjoyed Canberra and his health may have declined.

Because we are sweet, just going through a rough trot.
A bounce of the ball here or there, Warriors beat us from a forward pass, Cows beat us from an offside play, injuries, suspensions, a bit of bad luck..

I think the truth is probably slightly more blurred than that, as it undoubtedly is with Williams. These things are always a moveable feast.

For some reason people still think ESL contracts are more lucrative, despite the cap being around half what it is here...2.1GBP which is currently less than $5m.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2021

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2021
Dufty isnt a halfback, if we are seriously looking at him it would have to be as a fullback, which with the scott situation unfolding would be best.
Still leaves us short a halfback, so we either keep hodgson, and go all in on schneider, or sign johnson who is the only half decent halfback left on the market
