We need a bit of thought with our outside backs obviously. Some speed, tactical nous, size, game-reading-ability will need consideration moving forward.

Valemei is also just not ready for first grade. HSS and Timoko are far further along.

We played our GF against roosters.
We don’t have big game experience still,I’m
Hoping we are better for it next year.

Why are we not attacking Vunivalou that bloke is lost in defence he rushes up and can’t rea splays.

The raiders premiership wait will continue until we become a better footy team week in week out this one out plays to forwards doesn’t work,
Play our football which is not structured trying to go through them is stupid attack that vunivalou wing I really think he’s is defensively weak

But we will see

In all honesty
I said 7 years ago I couldn’t see us ever winning a gf again, the way the club was run, the nature of the nrl
I’d lost all hope

This is crushing, but we’ve been a chance to win a comp 3 of the last 5 years
At least we have hope again.

It's very disappointing. We just completely got overwhelmed by the storms momentum in the first 20 minutes.

but I completely agree regarding the issue with the outside backs it's the one major remaining weakness in this team

I am hoping, HOPING, that this serves as some kind of wake up call to Stick that he needs to adapt more, and quicker, to improve on a good side.

Getting to this stage is good, don't get me wrong. We're in the hunt. But we've been blasted away through the significant weaknesses he's left in our starting backline, and the rigidity of the way we he's got us playing. A back line containing guys like CNK, Valemei, Croker, and Rapana is weak and not troubling anyone. It is the **** backline out of any team in the eight.

If they were like that in the regular season, what would make anyone, let alone our coach, think it'd be different when the pressure starts to dial up rapidly.

Well, that was a pretty awful 10 minute period before we clawed some momentum back.

The Storm's kicking game has been unbelievable. They hit the ground running and shifted the ball well.

Terrible missed tackle by Toots on Vunivalu and drop by Valemei. Then that airswing from Cotric to gift a try to Olam.

Anyway, we just look a bit tired out there. Hopefully they do us proud to finish the season with good footy. We don't deserve to be smashed.

I’m logging all these Croker out calls for next season....
Going to be interesting seeing who here still thinks he’s our best option at centre.

Bellamy has targetted the Raiders' weaknesses. Great kicking game, get the ball out wide, pressurise Semi (who is never a top-class first-grade winger) and Rapana. Better with JB at centre.

Agree with Fox - just start offloading and throwing it around. Go down swinging.

The last 10 mins just gives me a very small glimmer of hope.

There are easily three tries left in this game. They just all need to be ours.

I would much rather be in their position but I have some hope.

Honestly, I'm taking this pre-lim as an unexpected bonus (still crippling disappointment). I see next year and the following as another window thanks to the excellent recruitment and depth we have.

Hold on to you seats though. There is a 50/50 chance we score the next two tries. We have the equal talent.

The year of COVID and the Storm make the grandfinal and send out the greatest virus the game has ever seen both club and player, how ironic.

**** me Hudson Young has been great out there for us. CHN running hard too.

Let's see what Starling can do with Papa and Taps.

We need something from Bateman.

Why are they still procrastinating over the Fox no-try. It was a 3cm gap! They are still going on about it. Why?

We win by scoring at least 19 more points than them in the second half.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Yep. I'm surprised they called Olam back. Hey, didn't Wighton get binned for the same?

I’ve said it more than once on here - we CAN’T (and won’t) win a premiership with Stick coaching. There’s close to two decades of evidence to show that he’s a below average rugby league coach

He’s plenty of other good things for the club. But he shouldn’t have anything to do with coaching the first grade team.
