Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day
We lost the game in the first 10. The season is a success, our club is learning success. We played our GF last week.
We can be better next year and I hope we will.

It’s ridiculous Starling is still on the bench.

I honestly think we got the best of Bateman - unexpected style in his first year, teams have worked him out. Hudson will be a future international. Oh dear, he just knocked on.

Melbourne are playing us perfectly. Just spread the ball to our edges.

Good time to say gee, we miss Hodgo right now. Both his ability and his leadership.

I love this one. I don't think he's the greatest coach in the game but he got us to a tie in the GF with 10 minutes to go...Rickmando wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 8:01 pmI’ve said it more than once on here - we CAN’T (and won’t) win a premiership with Stick coaching. Getting to this stage is good, don't get me wrong. We're in the hunt. But we've been blasted away through the significant weaknesses he's left in our starting backline, and the rigidity of the way we he's got us playing. A back line containing guys like CNK, Valemei, Croker, and Rapana is weak and not troubling anyone. It is the **** backline out of any team in the eight.
If they were like that in the regular season, what would make anyone, let alone our coach, think it'd be different when the pressure starts to dial up rapidly.
He’s plenty of other good things for the club. But he shouldn’t have anything to do with coaching the first grade team.

Geez Bateman 2020 isn’t the same version as 2019.

We looked good from the 20 onwards. We have been absolutley and completely bamboozeld.

Until they start recording nearly winning GF’s in record books, it means absolutely nothingRoger Kenworthy wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 8:09 pmI love this one. It's just sad watching Rapana now. He's far passed it at this stage. The re-signing boggles the mind.
