I want that 80 minutes back..

Gave me PTSD from our games between 15-18 where we'd cough up leads like that with 10 to go

Hard not to feel a little hard done by, despite the fact there is no one to blame at all.

We roll up our sleeves and grind out a win with a Nsw cup side, and yet we are beaten to the top 4 by an eels side who are barely the 6th best team in the comp and the roosters who had 80 points put on them last night.

I agree. Have no idea why Parra got that ball back.
Does anyone know what the call was there? Why did Parra get the ball back?
It looked like a Cummins special. God I hope we don't get him in the finals.

I think the finals run will be too tough for the Raiders.

We genuinely have had our season ruined this weekend.

Even a win next week and we go away to Roosters and Melbourne in consecutive weeks. Just a genuine disaster.

Somehow finishing 6th is better than 5th.

I’m sitting here more annoyed than I was after the GF In 2019. Because I honestly thought we would win this year.

Now I do not.

Ultimately there is no way around beating at least 2 of the Roosters, Panthers and Storm to win a premiership even with the best case scenario we dreamed of. We just have to go through all three of them now (assuming whoever wins out of Panthers v Roosters also wins the preliminary final)

But lets just focus on knocking over the sharks first.

It was always going to be a long shot hoping the Tigers would suddenly learn to defend. We need an extraordinary run from here to win three away games against Penrith, Melbourne and Sydney back-to-back, but it's been a decent season despite losing our most influential player halfway through.

At this point of year, you need to beat who you draw. No point worrying about hard or easy.

Why is everyone so negative?

If it's a lock that we can't beat the sharks then roosters/Panthers, we have no right to be in a prelim.

We can do it!

Exactly if we are afraid of any team and are just trying to sneak our way in its pointless. If we are gonna win we have to beat the best. Its the way it works.

Exactly. Bunch of clowns on here trying to think we can sneak our way to a premiership. This is the business end of the season, I don't care who we play we just have to deal with whatever is put in front of us.

In my opinion only 3 teams can win the Comp and we are one of them. We have by far the hardest route but we are a huge chance. The only thing that s**ts me is that one of Penrith, Parra or Souths will make the GF. Whoever wins the side that will likely have Storm, Roosters and Raiders on it now will win.

P.S. I realise that if Penrith make the GF they deserve it - I just think we or Storm or Roosters would do them in a Prelim.

If both the Roosters and Storm win next week then there is no way around avoiding them in the preliminary final for any team. Its if the Roosters can bounce back against the panthers after that horror show against Souths.

If Roosters would do Penrith in a prelim, they should do them in week 1. That would put Penrith on our side with Melbourne.

We've got every chance, we've beaten the roosters and storm this year so the boys won't fear them, weve just beaten the sharks so we know we can do that.

As someone said before we're in it up to our eyeballs

Our ability to play to the level of our opposition puts us in good stead..
I'd like to see us flog the sharks next week and then the eels, raiders are coming home strong...and storm or roosters are beatable

There is no combination of match results where we play the Eels in week two. That was only if they finished 4th but the Roosters dropping their bundle meant that was off the cards.

Raiders V Sharks in Canberra, then Raiders V Roosters or Penrith in Sydney.

Game after that will be V Storm/Rabbits/Eels, then onto the GF which could be against any team except for the Sharks (but realistically won't be the Knights or Eels either).

Only teams with any chance what so ever are Storm/Penrith/Roosters/Raiders, the rest are also rans unless they have the biggest form turn around of all time.

Very happy for Sam Williams and Lui. Two guys who’ve copped their fair share of questions from fans but were always professional on and off the field.

I don’t know what people are whinging about.
The road to a premiership was always going to pass through 2 of either the Storm, Roosters and Panthers.
If we’re good enough we win, if not, well that’s our fault for not doing more during the season to finish higher.
