I noticed the boys wearing “milk” caps at preseason training today.

Are they available to us ?

Not yet, at least. They usually sell the player caps though.

I think the 2021 version of the 1994 logo looks better. The font is stronger.

I think I actually like the revised 'classic' milk logo better than the 94 one.

Canberra Raiders announce Canberra Milk as new major sponsor for 2021

Canberra Raiders announce Toyota Forklifts will become sleeve sponsors for 2021

Image

The Canberra Raiders are pleased to announce a new partnership with Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) which will see their Toyota Forklifts brand appear on the sleeves of the players NRL Home, Away and Heritage Jerseys during season 2021, as well as other branded assets throughout the Raiders business and across Club media boards.

Raiders CEO Don Furner was excited about the new partnership “In October after announcing that Canberra Milk would be returning to the front of our jerseys in season 2021, we received much interest in the vacated sleeve property, and after extensive discussions with a number of applicants I’m pleased to announce that the best fit for us is TMHA and their Toyota Forklifts brand”.

“From our first conversation, it was apparent that this leading Australian company have similar operating philosophies and values as our own Club, we are confident in sharing a long-term partnership that will be mutually beneficial”.

Toyota Material Handling Australia is a successful entity that specialises in the supply and rental of forklifts, warehouse and construction equipment. They have eighteen 100% company owned branches around Australia and over 800 employees nationally.

President and CEO of Toyota Material Handling Australia Steve Takacs said “TMHA is excited to partner with leading NRL club Canberra Raiders as sleeve sponsor and we’re looking forward to successfully promoting our Toyota Forklifts brand.

The Canberra Raiders represent a culture that aligns with our own, and just like our Toyota Forklifts the Raiders team is tough and reliable, with a commitment to performing the very best both on and off the field. We look forward to what we are confident will be a mutually beneficial long-term partnership”.

I see this sponsorship as a fork in the road for our club, a chance for others to do the heavy lifting.

Thought that might happen. Hopefully the next batch of jerseys have the sponsorship covered.

Always a shame for those getting in early for Christmas etc.

Have the milk jerseys been rolled out in Rebel Sport down in Canberra yet? Have a gift card to use and have one of those milkies in my crosshairs.

Doubt it, if they did they flew off the shelves.

Jerseys at Fyshwick are finding it impossible to keep the Milk merch in stock, I was there today and almost everything left is 3 or 4XL

If only there was a way to secure one of the jerseys prior to them going on sale. Like a pre sale of some kind.

Let's hope so.

Just to add my bit though, for anyone at HQ in case they're reading: our home and away jerseys absolutely suck. Complete balls.

Please, never pull **** like this again.

We should wear the hertiage jersey in every game the powers that be allow it
I dont agree with their "jersey clash" views with Souths but we cant change that, so wear what they tell us to wear for that. Any game which doesnt have a clash should be the hertiage jersey which is absolute **** fire.

The feedback and debate really has been relentless. The Raiders can't post anywhere on socials without 5-6 comments underneath laying into the "home" jersey. I am actually quite proud of Raiders fans on this one, I thought it might be like the logo debate over the years, a 50/50 split of people wanting the original, against people who want a modern or updated version, but really just settling for whatever direction the club wants to take. I'd only just excepted the new logo and they want to change our colours now??? Interested to see what happens next year...
