Need to be on our game for this. Titans are going pretty well at the moment. A bit stiff against Sharks yesterday. Before that they belted the Cowboys and the prior 2 weeks had close losses to Roosters and Panthers.

Anyone know the process of getting tickets to the game? Or will it be Titans members only? Probably my only chance to see out. Our play this year.

Open for general sale. Go to Ticketek and for the code type in the number of tickets you want. Proctor referred straight to judiciary. Be an interesting case. He did bite but it was in response to a firearm being shoved in his mouth. Won't be a James Graham level suspension.

Re: 2020 Rd 15 V Titans: Teams and Previews
I've made this point before but we need to start strong and I think that requires our best team starting. I'd get CHN on the starting team and if he's not fit enough to play 80min yet, get him on for 60min and extend his minutes each game until he is. I'm now also of the view that Tapine should start in place of Lui. I doubt we will see this happen this week but I would love to see how we go running out like this one week:
1. Nicoll-Klokstad
2. Rapana
3. Croker
4. Scott
5. Cotric
6. Wighton
7. Williams
8. Papalii
9. Starling
10. Tapine
11. Whitehead
12. Harawira-Naera
13. Bateman
14. Havili
15. Young
16. Lui
17. Sutton
That's a very strong starting side. That starting forward pack can outmatch any of the others in the NRL and the space they would create with their go forward would give our halves and backs a lot more to work with early on. It doesn't matter if our second unit off the bench isn't as strong as the first due to the benefits of establishing dominance early and setting the scene for doubt to start creeping in to the minds of the opposition. This team has had trouble over the years trying to play catch up so why not play to our strengths and make teams play catch up against us imo.

Josh Hodgson still driving Green Machine behind the scenes
Josh Hodgson might be lost to the Canberra Raiders for the rest of the season on the field, but his leadership hasn't been lost off it.
"If he ain't going to be a coach I don't know who is. He's class, he's good to have around the boys, he knows the game inside out," John Bateman said. "I really look up to him as a leader, but he's a good bloke to have around the lads. He had his operation the other week, he's come back in now with the boys."

Did you switch Cotric and Rapana because of the way Rapana was trying to finish like a right sided winger?

While I think Holbrook has done a good job working out who to feed and who to let go, and create a Titans team that has plucky this year; they are still the Titans.
However, they will be without arguabley their best forward and player in Arrow. Good chance they lose Proctor, due to biting SJ, too. Copley is replaceable, but he is out.
I'll take a punt on both 17s...
CNK 1. Brimson
Cotric 2. Thompson
Croker 3. Kelly
Scott 4. Tonumaipea
Rapa 5. Sami
Jack 6. Taylor
GWill 7. Fogerty
Papa 8. Fotuaika
Havili 9. Peats
Lui 10. Joliffe
Bateman 11. Stone
Whitey 12. Hipgrave
Sutton 13. Wallace
Starling 14. Boyd
Young 15. Fermor
Tapine 16. Lisone
CHN 17. Whitbread

Re: 2020 Rd 15 V Titans: Teams and Previews
I don't think any side can be taken lightly in the NRL. The work must be done to earn a victory every week. Same side as against Bronco's.
Titans will be hungry for this game, I just hope it's not in a Proctor type of hungry. His unsavoury efforts against Cronulla will reduce fans appetite for the game. As it was a send off I don't see how the judiciary can not suspend him. They cannot quibble with the nibble. I'm sure they'll chew it over for a while before making the correct decision that what Proctor did was unpalatable. I'll go now ...

No secret that I watch most games every weekend and I've been pretty impressed with the Titans, especially the last month. They play an expansive style with plenty of second phase - which we have struggled with in the past. Arrow is a big loss and Proctor has rewound the clock the past few weeks. They are big outs. Kelly has been lethal on the edge and Brimson is regaining some form.

If we play for 80 minutes against the Titans there will be no need for golden point.
Also, you need to quote people to make sure they see your reply.
Your doing it wrong, bro.

Re: 2020 Rd 15 V Titans: Teams and Previews
Very impressed with Raiders win over Broncos, Raiders have only conceded 3 tries, and scored 13 tries in the last 6 games of 2nd half footy, just need the full 80.
Titans are the best of the three Queensland teams so we cant take this lightly, they will be down on some troops who most times make the Raiders look ordinary (proctor, copely), they also have playing Thompson, Kelly, Lisone who have had field days against Raiders in the past.
Wouldnt change much in the Team, good that papa, lui and whitehead had a bit of a rest and fresh for this game.
It will be a physical match up, Raiders by 12

We need a full 80 minute performance and I’m not buying any of this ‘we should beat them easy’ crap.
Don’t forget the changed travel arrangements don’t help - were almost destined to start slow.
I’d love for us to start with more width and passing instead of bashing through the middle for 40 minutes.

Ooops. Yeah, I had him at 13, then decided Holbrook would probably leave him in the bench role and forgot to put him back. So,gergreg wrote: ↑August 16, 2020, 10:12 pmYou missed Peachey. Re: 2020 Rd 15 V Titans: Teams and Previews
According to the Stats our starting front row of Papa, Havilli and Lui all had zero missed tackles against the Broncos. (I know they all had limited game time last weekend). But that’s a strong effort when you have Haas and Fifita in their pack.
But even more impressive. Zerotackle has the full season stats. Papa has just 10 missed tackles for the 2020 season and Lui has just 6 missed tackles.
No wonder our very middle is strong in defence. That’s keeping us in games when our attack isn’t on fire.

When is Team List Tuesday?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.
