In memorium - 30 year anniversary key chain
The top snapped off. 'tis a sad day.
This keychain had class, the few that have come in our members packs since then look like cheap junk. I recognise the irony in saying that since this one just broke, but it least it looked the part...

The show must go on.
Has anybody ever seen one of these, and if so does it look good in person?

Wasn’t that another one that came with the members pack a few years ago? We have that one or very similar on the spare front door key from memory.
It looks reasonably good, can’t say I think about it much.

You don't sit there during those quiet times, just holding it tightly?Bay53 wrote:Wasn’t that another one that came with the members pack a few years ago? We have that one or very similar on the spare front door key from memory.

Sterlk, I know it won't be the same, but perhaps you could fix the badge part to a 'plain square metal key chain'. If you google 'plain square metal key chain' a number of options come up. Or you could go with 'plain oval metal key chain' to take the edges off. Again, lots of different options if you google it. Once you have the right dimensions on the 'blank' for the NRMA badge to fit, there are heaps of metal to metal bonding products you could use for the job.
It might even be worth a call to the Raiders, to find out if they had any 30 year anniversary key chains left in stock for sale to NRMA members. You never never know.
