No doubt, the Raiders will be hoping to convince him to stay.

Don’t know anything about the bloke but good to see the Raiders exploring this new option of recruitment. I’m assuming we don’t need to loan a player back? Just take him on our cap for the remainder of the year?

Seems like we're putting a lot of effort to win it this season before we lose a couple of stars next year..

Coupd do a lot worse than trading sam williams or frawley for him

Reports he has an option in his favour next year at the donkeys. So my guess is he is here to fill top 30 spot. And put him through essentially an extended train and trial. With the intention of luring him away from the broncos.

S Williams is our no3 half so don't see him going anywhere. Just fortunate Jack and George have stayed healthy so far. If one of those go down Sam is straight into the starting side.
Frawley more likely. Problem is Broncos don't need more halves. They need better halves. Frawley is no upgrade.

Considering he can't even crack the current Broncos team this is a strange one.

Do we definitely have to swap a player?

No. It's a loan deal. Not a player swapDanaman137 wrote: ↑July 22, 2020, 6:37 pm Do we definitely have to swap a player?

Yeah this is a good day. Sucks to lose Nick but the club isnt wasting time making some moves themselves
I like the idea of this loan, a little try before you buy for both parties
Welcome Ethan, rip in young buck

The fact that Darius Boyd is still in the starting lineup and not even in danger sort of suggests we shouldn't read much into who's starting and who's not to judge talent at the Broncos right now.

That's obviously at a lower level of competition but the physical traits there are impressive. That's pretty much how you'd draw up a middle third footballer too, big, strong but mobile and with some late footworkCrank wrote: ↑July 22, 2020, 6:31 pm VIDEO: "Ethan is certainly talented and leg speed is one of his strengths" - Scott Prince on Norths Devils Ethan Bullemor: https://m.facebook.com/IntrustSuperCup/ ... 099981781/

It's strange why they are loaning him. They have a heap of injuries in the back row

No we don't. Warriors didn't loan us anyone when we sent them Murchie on loan for example.Danaman137 wrote: ↑July 22, 2020, 6:03 pm Don’t know anything about the bloke but good to see the Raiders exploring this new option of recruitment. Fifita expected back soon. Alex Glenn the only other one missing and they did add Ben Teo mid season.

I like this move given we are short on personnel this season.
Even if he returns to the Bronx next season, at least we get a closer look and possibly crack at keeping him here if he enjoys his time with us.

Re: Ethan Bullemor loan deal: Canberra Raiders set to land Broncos young gun
He has a players option contract in the Broncs in his favour.
Bronco's have a few other talented young middles they are trying to keep for 2021 and beyond- from Fifiita, Flegler, Teo, Haas, Hopoate etc + Glenn, Lodge and experienced middles. They need to lose one or two, Bullemore might be squeezed out. We lost Murchie and Knight in similar, even though they might be decent FGers. Broncs just can't keep ALL their rookies because they need to keep experience too.
So if he goes to Raiders on loan and we take him for 2021 too, it frees up some cap they can use to keep Fifita, Teo, TPJ etc.

Murchie to the Warriors was not a loan. We released him from his contract.BadnMean wrote: ↑July 22, 2020, 6:57 pmNo we don't. yes, we need him in the mix for sure this year- we are one suspension or injury away from just nothing left.GreenMachine wrote: ↑July 22, 2020, 6:59 pm I like this move given we are short on personnel this season.

And I get the feeling he is being squeezed out just due to cap pressure at the Broncs. They might hve let one through the cracks here that we can get for a good price for a couple of years and between him, Young etc then let the best man win.

I leaked this here on July 15th, but was clearly too subtle for you all
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I think it's very unlikely that he'll be heading up this way again any time soon.
