How do we tackle this?
No Bateman, Soliola, Horsburgh, Guler, released L Bateman, Collins and Murchie.
That is 7 players we had last year that we do not now.
Do we sign someone urgently? Who?
Or do we have any youngsters we can debut?
I'm worried

Pretty sure we'll sign a first grade middle within a couple of weeks.

Our middle looks skinny now.
Tapine playing 5-6 games in a row without injury or suspension is imperative.
At least we have Lui coming back in. He's a pretty decent 5th prop to be coming in. FG standard.
The other saving grace is Sutton seems to be a "give me more minutes" guy. As in if we had to carry Scott on the bench and someone in the middle do 70-80 mins, I actually think Sutton would enjoy it and grow into it, rather than lose output.
I agree it is a big issue and we are short, I just see one way we can cope if things stay as they are.

Looking at the footage, Guler may have done a syndesmosis.

Need to get someone in mid season, definitely.
To think that Sutton couldn't get a look in at the back end of last year and at the start of this one.

Ugh, I thought that too. I was hoping I was just way off.

We’re going to be seriously tested.
Is Murchie a full time Warrior or can we call him back?

Signed on with them for two years, I believe.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Only signed for the rest of 2020 originally...
But their contract list has him signed to end 2022:

There's plenty of talent in the state competitions
I'd start by bringing in Lachlan Timm

It is hard to know what to make of Timm, was in the Storm set up and moved on. I can only assume he saw a better opportunity to play first grade at the dragons.
By all reports was one of the best forwards in the NSW cup and despite the dragons forwards struggling and being out of the finals race late last year still wasn’t given a run in first grade.
Moves back to QLD and trains with the Broncos over the off season but not given a development contract.
I haven’t seen him play enough footy to comment on him but it is surprising that he didn’t get a squad position somewhere off his NSW cup stats alone.

Would we consider offering Shannon a 6month contract- hopefully titans pay most of it?
He would have something to play for to motivate him to shape up?

Just looked at our draw and we have an away game against the cowboys in a few weeks.
Will our antivaxers be able to travel north?

Borders are more relaxed now, so I don't see why not.

What about Brett White? He would only want 6months and looks fit!
Knows the system and plays, could really mentor the boys

I agree. However, I don’t think it’ll happen. We don’t seem in a rush when it comes to signings.
