Dogs have also done it twice.
4 games in a row in 2000-2003 and 3 in 2014-2016

Ricky Stuart brands George Williams a 'wonderful footballer'

English import George Williams showed shades of his Canberra coach Ricky Stuart with a starring performance in his team's shock 22-6 win over Melbourne.

"George and Jack's (Wighton) combination is something that combined with Josh (Hodgson), is a big part of our team. George, for his third game and a big break since his last two, the way he took on the game was a great example of the player he is.

Is Josh Papalii the best front-rower in the game?

Josh Papalii barely skipped a beat in Canberra's 22-6 victory over the Storm on Saturday night, with the Test and State of Origin prop making three tackle busts, two offloads and 29 tackles in a stunning return to footy.

"I'd like to see the one who's better than him at the moment," Billy Slater said on The Sunday Footy Show. "Over the last 18 months he's been so consistent in this sort of form both at State of Origin level and playing for the Raiders.

Sportsbet has suspended betting on him for the Dally M, while the TAB has suspended the Dally M market... presumably so odds can be recalibrated.
Only a 10? Can see why Wayne Bennett continued not to select him in a losing English side....

I must admit I was a bit worried that Williams wasn't being selected given the dross England were producing, but then I remembered it was Wayne Bennett.

That bloke has lost the plot. South's should be a bit worried now. He left Brisbane, St George-Illawarra and the Knights in a complete mess. This nonsense with Mitchell is not a good sign for Souths.

Couldn't agree with you more - way past it, last premiership 10 years ago, last GF 5 years ago. Mitchell not a fullback but Wayne is stubborn, Murray should play in the middle as props inc Knight hopeless in getting go forward, very predictable play

No team would want him as a coach, even desperados like GC and St George

NRL.com power rankings

1. Canberra Raiders (Last week: 1)
George Williams - what a superstar. He tore Melbourne apart by playing over the advantage line. The English connection he has with Josh Hodgson could carry Canberra to a premiership. They out-competed Melbourne - which isn't something you can say often - and they did it without John Bateman.

Wonder if Sticky would have copped it from the fans had he not featured in a presser after a loss

As far as I'm aware he didn't have much choice in this case. The quick flight meant he did it from the bus. That's why there is comment from him but no video.

I don’t think many fans would’ve known that to be the case though and would have accused him of spitting the dummy. Would have been a tight schedule had the game gone on to be a draw

NRL Power Rankings: New frontrunners emerge as run-down Rabbitohs slide south

1. Canberra Raiders

The Raiders had a relatively soft start to the 2020 season but more than proved their premiership credentials with a clinical 22-6 win over the Storm in Melbourne. They did so without John Bateman too and George Williams is only going to get better.
