Good to see Steve Jackson on the bench. If Sheens is clever he'll inset him late in the game if its close, could be a much-needed surge of energy.

Blokes a dud, hopefully won’t see any game time. We’re in trouble if he’s on.

Just there for the experience. Won't get a run.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Roach, Sironen, Elias, Pearce. I think they might have us in the forwards. They'll be hurting after losing last season too. Clyde will have to have a huge game to get us over the line.

Hopefully we put in a good show. It has been a hell of an end to the season, but I reckon our big win against the Roosters last week would have taken a bit of fuel out of the tank.

Should be tight.

President's Cup Grand Final

7th min PENALTY GOAL RABBITOHS to Charlie Saab. The Raiders penalised in their own half for off side.

13th min TRY RABBITOHS to half back Sean Stockham. The Rabbitohs opened them up down the middle, with Charlie Saab instrumental in setting it up. The Raiders are really on the back foot now. Saab converts. Sean Garlick really very busy for the Rabbitohs.

17th min TRY RABBITOHS to centre Brett Cook under the posts. Rabbitohs Jim Dymock and captain Steve Stone produced good work in the lead up to set it up. Charlie Saab converts.

22nd min TRY RAIDERS to half Jason Gregory! It is off the back of a Rabbitohs error and David Barnhill does well to offload for Gregory. No conversion. The Raiders have scored more points than any team in Under 21s this year, but the Rabbitohs have dominated in attack so far.

Charlie Saab might be driving the defence back in 1989, but I predict SAAB won’t be driving anyone in the next Millenia.

We're back underway in the President's Cup Grand Final, after a great half time show featuring characters from Steven Spielberg's film, Land before Time.

4 mins into the second half PENALTY GOAL RABBITOHS to Charlie Saab. That's five from five attempts and three penalties... Canberra not being disciplined enough.

20 mins to go TRY RABBITOHS to Manoa Thompson made a huge break out wide, and Raiders fullback and captain Paul Beath looked like he'd lined him up, but Thompson eluded his grasp. Charlie Saab... such a big man for this grade... can't convert from out wide. First miss of the day.

Now late in the match... TRY RABBITOHS to Charlie Saab. He can't convert his own try and that seals the Grand Final.

South Sydney Rabbitohs 26
Canberra Raiders 4

FULL TIME

Rabbitohs captain Steve Stone is hoisted up on his teammates' shoulders. Sean Garlick is named man of the match for the Rabbitohs.

Sad end to the season, for the Raiders. They've been very good all year. They take to the stage for their runners up cups, presented by Ken Arthurson. Now the Rabbitohs.
