Well, I'm not entirely sure our team is out there but pretty positive Ennis is. It's been 90% footage of him running around instead of the match... The NRL are killing themselves with this amateur production...

Rabbitohs kick off to start the second half... and the Raiders fail to take the short kick off for a third time in this match.

10th min TRY RABBITOHS to Ilias. Bonus point. You simply cannot give up the kick off! No conversion from in front.

Rabbitohs 17-8

Tough to win from here.

Another 3 minutes without an injury and I’ll call this tournament a success.

18th min TRY RABBITOHS to Bryson Goodwin, that is off the back of a forced line drop out. That is now 29 unanswered points. No conversion.

It’s joke footy really. Glad that as a club we give zero **** about it and basically send juniors with a splash of 3rd stringers.
If you played a 1st grader and they got injured you deserve what you get. Like I said joke footy.

I'm not sure we have, how many first graders actually played ? I wouldn't mind betting we will get a fine for that.

On another note...

I hope Starling and Frawley don't get anywhere near a first grade jumper this season.

Now I know that we treat this comp with nothing but disdain, and what has happened has absolutely zero to do with our season, but it still hurts watching us get absolutely schooled like that.

You would think the kids would be out to put on a show at minimum - Ennis picked up the short kickoff deficiencies after the first time we lost one, told them to get more players around the ball, then nothing happened and we lost like 3 more, all leading to tries.

Well for someone who has spent time and money to attend it’s pretty pathetic from our club, I wasn’t expecting great things from the weekend but the club has treated its fans like absolute crap.

I bought tickets with the knowledge we were sending a bare minimum squad, they’ve a made a fool of the club and the fans there today.

Bit of 1 on 1 tackling work to do but not too fussed. Often came off the back of having no ball.
Timoko kept ending up in the prime position for short kicks. Really not his bag.
No injuries is the best news.

As much as I support and agree with how the raiders treated the 9s I do feel for you and any other fans that spent the money and went over.

Was there at least a fan zone where you got to meet the bigger name players?

Agree. I don’t think this sort of approach to any competition is good for culture. Trent Robinson would never do anything but aim to win every time his team competes. The Roosters didn’t have much choice in this one, given the scheduling clash...

I feel for you. I think it’s unfortunate our club is one of many that has effectively destroyed what should be a great promotion for the code. I feel for the players who flew to Perth for nothing. I feel for Elliott who was made captain, but didn’t play a minute as captain.
