This is essentially the nsw cup playing a bastardised version of the game.

Yet I'm still watching.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

It is Game 6 of the men's... and it is our Raiders! Titans on the field first, now the young Raiders! The captain Elliott Whitehead straight to the bench. Titans kick off!

1st min TRY RAIDERS to Matt Timoko in the corner! They run it on the last and get a big overlap! Matt Frawley kicks the goal from the sideline! Just drops over!

Raiders 6-0

What was that, like four seconds? Nice!

I liked that.

6th min TRY TITANS to Michael Gordon in the corner. The Raiders didn't regather from the kick off. No conversion from the sideline.

Titans 11-6

Now Timoko allows the kick off to go into touch.

7th min TRY RAIDERS to Matt Timoko, Harley Smith-Shields delivers a great pass to set it up. That right edge looks great when they find space. No conversion.

9th min TRY TITANS after the siren. The Raiders kick out, concede a penalty on half way... and can't shut them down. One play to score, the kick to the corner produces the try in the end. Converted from out wide.

HALF TIME

Gold Coast Titans 17
Canberra Raiders 11

I know we are not treating the comp seriously but given it’s basically the Mounties they should be under instructions to have a go

Timoko looks promising, at least as long as he only has to catch and run. Our defence is pretty garbage and Williams pushing the pass was dumb.
