When will these fools learn?
Wighton had the runs on the board with us. If what is alleged in correct I’d like to see the back of him.

I sympathise entirely. I'm heartily sick of these **** dragging the Raiders down, made even worse now with the club on the verge of a slice of greatness. I suspect though that pragmatism will win out here, and Curtis will be on the world's shortest leash.
Curtis Scott to appear in court on 20 February after allegedly punching policeman
Canberra recruit Curtis Scott has allegedly kicked and punched a police officer while being arrested. "The 22-year-old man allegedly became aggressive and kicked and punched one of the officers," NSW Police said in a statement. "The man was taserered and arrested."
The former Melbourne centre was granted conditional bail and will appear in the Downing Centre court on February 20.

I expect he’ll be up for the no fault stand down policy if the legalities drag on into the season. As he should.

If I'm reading the penalties correctly, they are such that he'd be automatically stood down under the NRL policy.

Good. This sort of **** won’t be tolerated at the Raiders and shouldn’t be tolerated in the NRL. Or anywhere in the work for that matter.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
Can go two ways.
Sack him now if there is a clause in his contract about behaviour or hope to hell he repays us in the future.
He won't be stood down by the nrl as he will not get sentenced for 11 years for these offences.
He didn't stab anyone or rape anyone. No matter how bad assault an officer is.
If it’s all true, I can’t see Ricky keeping him. Wighton had runs on the board before his **** up, Curtis Scott is Johnny come lately and as mentioned, we owe him zip.

yeah what an idiot. And the timing... at least if this had happened earlier we may have been able to hold onto BJ
Cant help but be surprised by this. I could tell from the get go that this bloke was a flog. I am just glad he didnt bring any of the pom boys or Cotric down with him.

He probably won't, and might face a fairly minor penalty in the event of a guilty finding, such is the range of possibilities, but as I read it, the maximum penalty over 11 years... https://www.armstronglegal.com.au/crimi ... onSentence
I don't know precisely how the NRL applies their rule, guess we will have to wait and see.
I do hope his welfare is being cared for right now, and the club helps look after him in a difficult time for him personally.

I hear there’s a young gun at the Rabbitohs named Adam Doueihi
Who wants to remain in Sydney
