Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Makes sense, he reminds me of the younger sibling who stays with their parents to save up for a trip overseas. Then when they need to save again, come home and crash with the parents.
He did move out at one point and moved to Wollongong with some friends, but that was a short term plan.
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Frawley is no better or worse than Sammy at NRL level. Given Frawley was an upgraded development contract, he would be cheaper than Sammy. Good luck to Sammy
Sam Williams is definitely a better player than Frawley for mine... im not too fussed about Sam potentially leaving and facing the prospect of playing Frawley because it reminds a story im sure ive referenced before about the old Colts QB Peyton Manning and why his back ups weren't given more practise reps, a reporter asked Tom Moore (the colts OC at the time) why and Moore is said to have responded with "Fellas, if '18' (Mannings number) goes down, we're ****. And we don't practice ****"
This is to say if a gun is put against my head and i have to play one of those guys, it's Sam Williams 100% of the time... but if either our #6 or #7 go down, Sam or Frawley doesnt matter, we're ****.

However, as a cap management deal, I suspect Frawley over Sammy makes sense to you?
Assuming Sam is on considerably more than Frawley and imo we're **** either way... yeah im fine with that.
But, and these are arbitrary figures here, but if we're paying Sam Williams less than 180kish, id much prefer to keep him, i think Sam is a worthy enough upgrade on Frawley to pay that kind of money. Anything more and yeah id probably rather spend the difference on people like JB and roll with Frawley

If he’s on more than $180,000 he’s in the top half of players in the NRL. He’s in the squad as a back up. The position probably pays a premium I guess. But if he’s on a lot more than that, it’d be one reason for the tightness in our salary cap.
I’d sort of just presumed that Williams continuing on and on as a good back up at his age was lending to him jumping straight into the coaching staff when he hangs them up.

He might be a backup, but he is also a half. That makes him more valuable.
Obviously a higher profile player would be great, but do we look to bring back someone like Jack Murchie now that he's getting a bit of a first grade experience?
