level pegging with picking the pieces out of your finals contending side as if its complete garbage and the only thing that would save it is a complete overhaul, starting with signing benji marshal

We should try and sign papenhauzen to be our 14. Would be great off the bench for us and would come here cheap

The teams pretty good. We only need to work on Attack and Defense
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

I think the speed issue would would be sorted out with a change of leadership IMO.
We'd be the quickest side in the comp if our captain put a rocket up a few players, not sure if you'd need to get permission before inserting them though :hmmm

He is, but when the club is running 5th and in turmoil, you need to get these guys back into the fold.

Its an interesting point you've made, and probably a question for those with a better football brain that I have, but overall how would you rate our Melbourne Recruits?
Off the top of my head Im thinking we've had
  • Glen Turner
  • Brett White
  • Sisa Waqa
  • Curtis Scott
And Im not talking players who went Melbourne > Another Club/s > Canberra, like Orford. I mean directly from Melbourne to Canberra

I know typically Storm don't release players they want to keep, but how would you rate the Storm signings we've made? Also let me know if I missed anyone
One word : Underwhelming.

Glen Turner was a fringe first grader at the Storm and brought that form with him to the Raiders. Waqa went Ok for us, but those gambling issues really de-railed his career and he never seemed settled at the club. He was a good finisher with average hands.

I think we're all hoping Scott reaches his potential when the offseason drama eventually gets fully resolved.

Raiders player signing speculation 2020

Post by FuiFui BradBrad »

Brent Read is saying Manly have given Addin Fonua-Blake permission time speak to non-Sydney clubs.

Looking to be Warriors bound.

Nice thought but no. Middle forward not an area of need for us. Don't want too much cap money taken up there.

Seems Manly are looking to land some sort of swap deal. Not sure on what's behind the request, but the Warriors could definitely do with him.

In theory we'd have to let go of someone like Tapine to fit him in. He'll probably end up at the Broncos.

Manly want a quick resolution and the Broncos won't sign anyone without a coach from what I've read.
Might be a swap with the rat at North Qld. Manly would probably be pretty open to a hooker as well but can't see any side outside Sydney giving up a hooker..... unless Melbourne come to the party.
B Smith to Manly. AFB to Melbourne.

Warriors in the box seat though. Have space. Need a forward leader.

From what they were saying on 360, McGuire is heading to Dragons to be coached under Griffin. Claims Griffin's the best coach he's played under.
Broncos are on a signing freeze until they get their CEO and Head Coach sorted out
