Needs more Austin on the wing.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Given the way he failed in such major fashion for the Great Britain Lions against top quality opposition, it is a downright ridiculous result.
Certainly no doubt in my mind about Papalii and Bateman being in the top 13 though.

Damien Cook? He didn't show up after origin

Look, i know everyone wants to give the ESL it's credit or whatever... but if you're not playing NRL footy, i dont think you belong on an all world team
If Tommy Makinson wants to come to the NRL and prove he's a world class winger who can deliver week in and week out, fine but until he does that there is at least 10 wingers, including two of our own im picking in that squad ahead of him
And yeah, Jackson Hastings and Konrad Hurrell, two NRL wash outs because they werent up to standard... i mean c'mon now.
Even Luke Thompson who people i trust beleive is absolute a stud... alright, come and test yourself in the best competition in the world and prove it. Otherwise you're just a big fish in a pond no one really gives a **** about.

Didn't Makinson already try (and fail) in the NRL?

Who was the pommy winger who couldn't crack first grade at the Panthers?

There's been a few ESL"superstars" over the years that never tested themselves in AUS even though they were absolute gods back in ENG. Three gods spring to mind straight away..Danny Maguire, Kevin Sinfeld and Jamie Peacock..GODS !!!Botman wrote: ↑December 21, 2019, 8:54 pm Look, i know everyone wants to give the ESL it's credit or whatever... but if you're not playing NRL footy, i dont think you belong on an all world team

Yeah, these are always funny selections. It's a Pommy based rag isn't it?
All good if they want to use it to promote the game over there. To be fair the NRL aren't flush with elite halfbacks and centres these days.
