Yep, good singing. I wonder if he is development or first grade squad?

Not too worried about his singing. How good is he at footy?

Singing. He's been known to belt out a great Celine Dion power ballad.

Similar to the HSS signing but a year more development to be had. HSS can play anywhere in the backline but I think this guy is a career centre. Mounties are going to have a strong year.

Timoko is a young version of BJ. He is that tackle busting beastmode guy, that has a clanger in him.

I think we are stocked at centre now - BJ, Croker, Timoko, Smith-Shields, Kris, Cotric potentially, Scott by the sounds, Oldie can play there, but definitely a better winger.

This is starting to look more and more like shop BJ harder.

Thought he out performed HSS in the pre-season. HSS was pretty dynamic last year though so maybe a touch of nerves/over thinking with the opportunities on offer.

Good re-signing. But what ever happened to re-signing toots, cotric and soliola before the season kicked off?? Not that I think any of them will be going anywhere.. you can particularly guarantee toots and soli will be staying green without a doubt.

Not quite sure how this thread got a new life today... but the club has never announced this, itself. He's not in the top 30 squad announced on March 3, nor in the development player list. In any case, he was at the Season Launch tonight and introduced as part of the squad... Jack Murchie was not there. Nor Tom Starling or Jack Wighton (illness).

Totally agree. HSS is a great young player but not under pressure. Big raps on him last year but faulted slightly towards the end of the year when publicised and in finals. Timoko is consistently strong and looks great after a full pre season and is still eligible for 20’s. His footwork and fend are way better than HSS. Mounties are looking good if these guys dont get a crack in the top squad. Mind you both probably deserve a chance over our ill disciplined big signing.

Haven't seen enough of Smith-Shields to comment on how successful he might be, but from what I've seen of Timoko I think he has a future.

It was at the bottom of my screen, so I commented. Looking forward to seeing this fella develop.

This was never announced by the club... but it is now confirmed, signed to end 2022.
