Two ref dubious decisions cost us :-(
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

Appalling refs .. The first half call was bad enough but the second half six to go then ref changes his mind after a tackle is just mind boggling.
The refs changed the game. Disgusting

Except for the fact that he's on TV waving it.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I bow down to thee oh great Nickman, the wisest of the wise, your political adroitness is unsurpassed, your sagacity is unmatched, your wisdom shines through on this forum amongst us mere mortals as bright as your scalp under the light of a full moon, never shall I doubt your analytical prowess again. You are my hero, my lord, my savior, may you accept my offerings so you continue to bless us with your genius.

The first half call was, sadly, correct. That second half one was bizarre.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

So proud. Outstanding performance from our team. Got at least 10 messages saying we were robbed. So typical for the referees to screw it up. Nrl, you have issues.

Two wrong decisions.

The rule book states referees, touchies and spectators touching the ball leads to the attacking team retaining possession.

Nothing about other team staff or a 14th man as using common sense that is a penalty against the offending team. With the Cummins and coach's son intepretation why wouldn't teams just throw a trainer into first receiver when they are attacking?

Jack Wighton is named Clive Churchill medalist for 2019. His speech is drowned out by the booing of the Roosters fans. Ugly stuff.

A shattered Jarrod Croker climbs the stage with his co-captain Josh Hodgson. He thanks the loyal supporters who've made it to the game, and tells them to 'make sure you're back next year...this is just the beginning for us'.

The Raiders side files up onto the stage to receive their medals.

Next up is Ben Cummings, and the booing is as expected.

That sucks! It is just the start of bigger and better things but it sucks because the 2019 Raiders deserved premiership rings. There is good reason to think we get a premiership or two in coming years but not all these lads will be part of it and they deserved it. I’ve questioned many of these guys over the journey but hard to fault a player tonight. Jack was brilliant but BJ, Croker, CNK, Sezer, Cotric and Raps were all outstanding. Lui had an unfortunate error but all the forwards were strong. It just was an effort that deserved a premiership result and it sucks that we didn’t get it. I hope this builds a resolve within that creates an empire! Nothing but love to Ricky, the players and all the supporters - classy effort Canberra!

Proud of the team and the fans at the game.

This really stinks, I mean really really smells.

The trainer flinched but didnt move, surely he could have moved out of the way.

Can anyone say why he was on the field on the 6th tackle?

The 6 again..it HAS to be brought up and not ignored, the final game of the year is..... decided by a ref.

Anyone surprised

Ben Cummins - there was no way to explain what happened. Definitely six again. Can Hasler share Annelsey's number?

But BJ - although he had a great game - cost us the game - twice. One was his late pass, the other being out of position for the Roosters' try.

Wighton had a better 4 weeks than Munster and Keary. Should be Australian No 6.

We played very well to keep Tedesco, Keary and Latrell quiet.

Liu and Tapine are liabilities - I told you so.

Referee is the sole judge of a mutual infringement.
