If we can try and get in earlyish and dominate the brewery it will add to the atmosphere of everyone walking into the ground later in the afternoon.

I'm thinking about how is Sydney folk get down there. Any interest in a minibus leaving early the next day? It's a commitment in case we lose.

Either that or a bunch of tickets on a Murray's bus?

Also. Assuming kids are allowed in the Brewery on Sunday? Or is it over 18s only?

We might need to get on a Murray’s or Greyhound coach. They start leaving from 7:30am

Yes, I'll probably do that then head into the ground fairly early.
That’s my theory too I think. Wouldn’t mind seeing the state league final.
We should try The Locker Room Hotel for lunch... see how it goes!

Reminds of that time some legend organised a mini bus from Sydney > Canberra for the Raiders vs Tigers finals game in 2010. The whole thing was organised by some posters via the GreenHouse.

Fair story for someone with a decent grasp of Sydney geography...

I went with a couple of mates and we met the Raiders GreenHouse crew at Blacktown station.

They'd hired this 90s Toyota Hiace with about 600,000 km's on the clock. It limped down the highway and eventually we arrived and saw the heartbreak of Campese's knee blow out, TLL's penalty (which he told me 7 years later, that the Tigers forward had completely milked it) and Croker's missed penalty kick.

Anyway, we assembled back in the van at about 10:30pm and sat in the carpark for what felt like a hour, only to be interrupted by one of the fans (who was due to be dropped back in Sydney) exiting the van as we're pulling out of the carpark and proclaiming "I've gotta see Croker!! ". He was cut loose and hopefully found a way home, via Croker....

First stop is Campbelltown, we arrive at about 2am and drop 1 passenger off.

Next stop, Blacktown to drop a mate of mine off. By then it's approaching 3am.

Next stop is my destination. I exit with 2 other mates at Glenhaven at 3:30am.

I assume they're all done... but apparently they're now heading to Glebe?! and the van is due back at Blacktown at 6am

I don't think any amount of thank you's could've persuaded the bloke to organise this again. If you're still on the forum, hope you're well!

Anyway the moral of the story is, do what you've gotta do to watch the Raiders make history and make the absolute **** most of it!

If any of you boys or girls want to hang out at PJs man shed on grand final day the doors go up at 11-30am. Pace yourself though, it's a long session. But we will be having a BBQ dinner around 5pm. I've got loud music and free darts as well..anybody ???

The State Championship is a whole lot better spectacle than the Women's game. What a joke that it's on earlier

I think my plan would be to watch state cup, head out to have a drink at the meetup and then go back in for the pregame of first grade.

Just remember getting a beer on grand final day in the stadium is a night mare. Two drink maximum and bar feels like miles away from the supporters bay.

I’ll be staying at the brewery until about an hour prior to kick off

The line to the members open training session is about 500m with impromptu Viking Claps surfacing every few minutes.

Amazing stuff.

Canberra is really embracing the moment.

God, it was a two drink maximum in Canberra on Friday night too.

What an absolutely ridiculous system, who ever thought of that? All it does is make the lines longer and ensure you miss more of the game. Absolutely rubbish.

I don’t feel the training session is that crisp at the moment. Nothing to worry the Roosters defence, that’s for sure.

No Hodgson is why. If we had to rely on Sezer to set the attack this is the result

It’s absolutely ridiculous. Half time is joke as well because they close the bar down soon as the players run back on and the line is massive and everyone if pissed off due to the wait.
