Grand Final T Shirts
Anyone know if the club will be making any??
I have very fond memories of wearing the raiders shirts when I was a kid, "back to back attack" being my personal favourite.
Would be really disappointed if they don't make any.

They are out, there are 2 versions I have seen so far and many places are selling them.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a Grand Final jersey we can buy prior to the game?

They don't release gf jerseys, only premiers jerseysLastRaider wrote:Does anyone know if there is going to be a Grand Final jersey we can buy prior to the game?

T shirts are a bit pricey.... Or I'm a bit tight.
Hopefully there will be more.

That’s funny, I found the shirts a little tight and I’m fairly pricey...

Re: Grand Final T Shirts
They both suck.
A premiership t-shirt, however...I'll buy me one of those.

While 'back to back attack' was indeed clever, 'one two, thank you' was my choice for the top spot.raidersmalt wrote: ↑September 29, 2019, 12:19 pm Anyone know if the club will be making any??

"This time it's personal" in 1991 was also good, although a bit rich considering it related to salary cap breaching.
Re: Grand Final T Shirts
I don’t think I’ve seen an NRL club this century not make an ugly as grand final tee. Just put the cartoon from the paper on a T-shirt and write “Premiers” followed by the year they won it.

Re: Grand Final T Shirts
Im not fussed on either of those. I was planning on getting one to celebrate the occasion.
I always liked the 1994 one with "the boys are back in town". I still have it to. In pretty good condition considering i wore the **** out of it as a kid. Doesnt fit me anymore so the 13 year old niece gets to wear it on sunday.

There's always a set of 'Premiers' shirts produced for both teams. What happens to the losing team shirts? Would like one of those 'Broncos 2015 Premiers' ones

I got my hands on a losing one in 91. Even than as a kid I hated the shirt and never really wore it.

Re: Grand Final T Shirts
Any more news on grand final shirts? Anyone seen any like those we got in the 90s around town? I'm in Melbourne, so can't look for myself. The ones I see advertised online look pretty boring. Anyone going to the training session today care to comment on what they have available there.
Re: Grand Final T Shirts
How did this awful ISC brand take over most of the NRL? And a fair bit of the AFL too..Seriously they make the worst merch ever! Anyway, it seems the past 3 or 4 years in the AFL, The Herald Sun Mark Knight Cartoon will get printed on a premiers tshirt, and they're awesome, they make me a little jealous we don't have the same thing. Its an initiative the NRL should take with Boo Bailey at the Telegraph buuuut they won't..

Re: Grand Final T Shirts
For many, many years there was a cartoonist for the Melbourne Herald called Bill Green or better known as WEG used to do a grand final poster. Since WEG’s death Mark Knight from the Herald Sun has taken over that stuff and they put the cartoons on all sorts of things. But they are no WEG drawings.EVH wrote: ↑October 1, 2019, 5:39 pm

However agree NRL should do something similar.
Also agree about ISC. I see Essendon have just signed with Under Armour, probably one of the few clubs to leave ISC. Will be interesting to see what they come up with as I don’t think Under Armour have done much Australian sport before.

Wow, that takes me back... WEG did a portrait of my old man that he's still got around the house somewhere. It's a great likeness.Bay53 wrote: ↑October 2, 2019, 7:53 amFor many, many years there was a cartoonist for the Melbourne Herald called Bill Green or better known as WEG used to do a grand final poster.
