Yep. I couldn’t hear the drum over the crowd noise.

Yeah not enough volume to hear it over the crowd. I just watched the soldier with the bass drum and took my cue from him.

I doubt it will. In any event, one end of the field will be packed with Raiders fans.

Besides, even if 50% of the Roosters fans turn up, that’s only 5 people

I was at the A-League grand final when the Mariners won, stuck behind the goal with 70% of the stadium being Wanderers supporters.

Having that % of WSW fans still had an amazing atmosphere, so I have no doubt a similar number of people doing the clap will be very impressive. Probably not as powerful as we had on Friday at the end of the game,
But still great.

Side note - I reckon crime rate was low that night in Sydney.

They will def interrupt it with the Easts chant but for mine it only adds to the atmosphere when you can hear the background of the other team.

My question is who runs out first? The lower ranked team?

The viking clap should be targeted to the members end
As in that's where the drummers and camera focus should be.

I think it has to be made clear to people that ‘as a one off’ Raiders fans and players are asking anyone not supporting the Roosters to join in the Grand Final Viking Clap.

It doesn’t matter if they usually are a Broncos fan or Souths supporter, the Grand Final Viking Clap is about celebrating rugby league and celebrating the games supporters from any club. It’s the supporters of the clubs who encourage the players to make this game great.

The Roosters fan section is sold out so assume they've reached out to bring in every fan from around the globe. Uncle Nick will have a large travel and accommodation bill to pay.

Being the NRL I'm assuming it will be targeted at the corporate seats in the middle, where about 1 in 6 people will be somewhat engaged by the happenings on the field. The balance will be more concerned with the canapes and drink top ups.
