I think it will probably be tickets on sale to club members on the Monday (week of the game) and the public on the Tuesday.

We'll get our codes (if they're new ones, I don't know) next Sunday night, and then the tickets will go on sale 10am Monday for members. At least, I think that's right.

We are considered Preliminary final 1. Does that mean we get Friday? Not sure how it works but if it was at the NRL’s discretion, you would think they’d prefer to have a game in Canberra on the Friday night rather than have 30 000 people trying to get into the SCG during peak hour.

Hope so anyway. I am driving to Melbourne on Saturday morning. Can leave a day earlier and stop in to Canberra now!

Although next week it looks like our opponents will be playing on the Saturday. So will they change it up the week after or leave it as is so both teams get 7 days break?

Sunday footy show said that Souths v Manly is Friday night and Melbourne v Parra/ Brisbane is Saturday night. That should flow into us playing Friday night so that both of the away teams get a 7 day turn around into the Preliminary Finals.

You’d THINK that makes sense, but why in the flying **** did the NRL give the sharks a 6 day turnaround last night?

I presume the Roosters will play Friday night for TV rating purposes.

It would have to be Friday.
Souths/Manly is Friday, Storm/ParraBris is Saturday. NRL wouldn’t make an 8 and 6 day turnaround respectively when 7/7 is available.

So why did the sharks get a 6 day turnaround when they could’ve played today?

The NRL take members seats for corporates, and then release them back later in the week where they aren't needed.

Because manly and the eels played each other last friday and since the eels finished higher than manly, they deserved a longer turnaround than them.

If true, that's disappointing. It's almost enough to make me boycott the game and watch from home. Almost.

Non-member here.

Been to 3 away games this year to support the boys (Wests, Dragons and Panthers).

Managed to wrangle a leave pass from my pregnant wife to do the overnight trip from Sydney for this, hotel already booked.

If any member buying less than their quota if happy to buy one extra (happy to pay in advance), I'll be eternally grateful.

Have booked my hotel! (and will also kindly be asking if any member has 2x spare allocation when the time comes  )

For anyone coming down, I highly recommend the 'Family Dreamworks Exhibition Package' at the QT hotel while it's available. $207 if you join their membership program and has a whole bunch included such as free (really good) breakfast, parking and tickets to the Dreamworks event which can be used on Saturday.
