Re: Preliminary Final Tickets
I’ve booked at Crowne Plaza for $173. Have to be in Melbourne by 11am Saturday so I won’t be utilising any breakfast packages. Probably won’t even be sleeping that night to be honest.

For those coming in from out of town but who are driving, you might want to consider staying in Gungahlin. There'll be a free bus to the game from there, quite straightforward, and there's loads of amenities. It is further out than some places but quite convenient for the ground.

For anyone coming down, I highly recommend the 'Family Dreamworks Exhibition Package' at the QT hotel while it's available. $207 if you join their membership program and has a whole bunch included such as free (really good) breakfast, parking and tickets to the Dreamworks event which can be used on Saturday.

Did you get an email from the club prior to the Storm game, with members pre-sale? You should have if you are a ticketed member. If not, you might want to ask the club.

Re: Preliminary Final Tickets
No, I didn't. However I have been in touch with the club and I should've (didn't need it) and I will get one for the Prelim!
Hopefully I can jag 3 tickets.. I've only ever been to 2 games at Bruce for 2 wins so I can't wait.

Either way... it's not allowed. No fun, please.

Should we classify the regular whinging from Nickman as a 'segment', GE?greeneyed wrote:Could you double up on the whinging? Everyone wants to hear more of it!

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - Preliminary Final tickets
Whinge of the week wouldn't quite cut it, unless it was competition for the best whinge of the week... although if that was the case then the Rickman might not win, it would probably be something about goal kicking, captaincy or people having fun...

I'm not sure any of those would ever qualify as "best", would they, pick??
Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - Preliminary Final tickets
Probably more a daily segment. I also don't like the 'competition' idea. Billy doesn't need further encouragement.pickles wrote:Whinge of the week wouldn't quite cut it, unless it was competition for the best whinge of the week... although if that was the case then the Rickman might not win, it would probably be something about goal kicking, captaincy or people having fun...

I tell you, Frank is going to have a major whinge when I get home. You'd think he hadn't been fed for weeks, when i fed him just this morning. The Rickman wrote:I'm not sure any of those would ever qualify as "best", would they, pick??
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

It could be some cranky old bastard complaining about something that happened in 2016... albeit comparatively articulately. The Rickman wrote:I'm not sure any of those would ever qualify as "best", would they, pick??

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - Preliminary Final tickets
Hi gang,
I’m contemplating making the trek to the Prelim from Darwin with my brothers. Being from Darwin I don’t have a ticketed membership this year, so for this to happen I do actually NEEDMEMBERSCODE.
If anyone’s available to give up 3 of their 8 ticket allocations for me to purchase from the site, could you please send me a PM?

Yeah these are fair prices... but I agree, what odds Ticketek's website completely crashes first thing Monday morning and it's a complete ****?
