International Raiders
During the 2016 finals series I was one of a group of posters who huddled together at the Walkabout in London to get behind the boys. Whilst things didn't ultimately go our way, it was a really special experience to be surrounded by Raiders fans so far from home and I met some quality blokes along the way.
With that in mind it would be cool to know who is tuning in internationally, and where everyone will be watching the prelim in a couple of weeks' time? Who knows, there might even be some posters at close proximity who can organise to meet up.
For my part I'll be watching from Bogota, Colombia - anyone else repping South America?! Today's game kicked off at 2:40am, I'm tired now but couldn't be more stoked with the result. Will definitely be keeping a close eye on Skyscanner for any reasonably-priced tickets home for the first weekend of October...

Re: International Raiders
Mate if everything falls into place just go for it. I flew over to UK in may on 2 days notice when Derby County played Villa At Wembley and even though we lost it was one of the best things I’ve done.twistedbydesign wrote: ↑September 15, 2019, 4:57 am During the 2016 finals series I was one of a group of posters who huddled together at the Walkabout in London to get behind the boys. Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I'm in Zagreb and will probably be watching at home unless anyone else is around.

Strangely, I'll be in Rome for the Final if any Rads are around and want to share a 10am beer
