Well you can tell its finals football, close stuff.

A little disappointing we don't have more points on the board after dominating the half, I get the feeling momentum is going to swing around. Still, I'd rather be in our position than theirs, leading at the break going into the second half is a strong position.

Writing on the wall for a changed Melbourne out of the dressing room. They're not going to repeat a shocking half like that.

You can gather together all those chicken little posts about being cannon fodder in the finals and momemtum and all that jazz, and you can put them into a rocket and fire it into the sun

We may not win this game but we've certainly not been hurt by the decision to rest players last week

I reckon we're doing well. Probably the better team just thus far. Hopefully, we can come out in a positive frame of mind and put on a few, then hold on for the victory. If its not to be Toots day and he's lacking confidence, give kicks to Sezer - not the day to kick back into form.

I'm impressed with our defence in the first half. Good hard defending with numbers in tackles and driving them back. More please in the second half. A shame Cotric cannot return due to failed HIA. 16 on 17 on their dunghill. Go Raiders. Show 'em what you are made of.

I don't think they've been that bad. Tbh they've missed Brodie Croft.

Sezer, Hodgson, Wighton and Bateman playing well for mine.

We look pretty organised at least.

We look pretty good tbh. All our big players are having a good game. The worry always is that the storm don't tend to put in two halves of footy like they just did.

The Rapana offside was closer than I first thought. I’ve seen those not overruled previously. But still just offside for mine.

I think the spine in general have played well. Aside from the one kick error, Sezer has controlled the game well
The job is only half done though, this is going to be a tough 40 minutes of footy... its captain obvious stuff but getting the first try in the 2nd on the board would be massive

Why the hell does Ricky not have Sezer kicking. Croker's record counts for nothing in current games and he is currently really off!
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

Not many overreactions really. Most animated commentary is around Croker's kicking which is fair enough.

Hodgson been good but that last kick was disastrous

i dont know about us going back to things like hodgsons kick and going "it was a disaster"

The players just have to do better in defense. We often just let teams make too many easy metres on the belief we can defend it on the goal line. That almost worked as an aside. We still only gave up two and it took a bit of a head scratcher of a penalty on Sezer for not being square on the goal line. Weird one.

Agree, I can remember a couple of game where his impetuosity has cost us games :-(
